Great food , excellent service , very friendly staff , best authentic Indian food in town highly recommend it

Im not one for making reviews let alone bad reviews; however...just ordered two butter chicken meals from skip the dishes. Almost $60 for a small hanful of homemade tortillas? ..i think. With the order came two small containers of what can only be described as sweet butter chicken SOUP. Nothing else. Liquid with a few chuncks of chicken...no rice. We called to ask if there was a mistake and the mans reply "you didn't order rice, take it up with skip the dishes"

My wife and I we’re craving Indian food for lunch. We would frequently go for lunch (pre-pandemic) as we live the Glebe; and they normally have a wonderful lunch buffet. We called around 11:30 to confirm they were open and the buffet was on. Arrived 10mins later and were greeted by the owner, wonderful to see him again.Ambiance is still charming as always. The food was delicious, plentiful and hot. Lots of protein as well as vegetarian options to choose from.$17 all-you-can eat!! Best value in the Glebe for lunch.

Used to have great food. What happened?!! The samosa’s were undercooked and lacked flavour. The naan was not naan. It was more like a simple soda flatbread. The butter chicken was too sweet and a small portion for the price. So sad to spend a lot of money to support a local business that ended up giving me subpar food. They used to be great. Now, not this time. Please improve.

Great food and it's always ready when you go in for pickup. Do yourself a favour and call in an order for pickup. It's delicious and you have choices for dishes that aren't spicy.

The food is insanely expensive, they didn’t tell us the price before we ordered and it came out to over $100 for 12 samosas, 2 naan and 3 vegetarian dishes. It didn’t even come with rice. The food is average Indian food. The employees didn’t want to help us with our concerns, ignored our calls and ended up blocking our number even though we were polite to them. We won’t be coming back.

Flavor extraordinaire, great variety, totally yum!!! Friendly curtious staff:)

Ate here on New Year’s Eve. There were four of us. I felt a bit rushed and the waiter didn’t know what beers he had besides one traditional Indian beer. When I asked him how many ounces the glass of wine was, he looked at me with a blank look and couldn’t answer. He came back with a small glass to show us what it would come in. Asked if they had 2 sizes,.. again didn’t understand the question. When the food finally came, I was underwhelmed at the small portion sizes for the money. About $ 67.00 before tax for 4 small meat plate dishes - which didn’t include any rice or Naan bread which we ordered separately. The food actually was tasty but as many others have said, it was expensive for what you got. I will not return.

I used to go there as a student and loved it. Now 15 years later I went again and it the same or even better. With all the years , the place maintained quality and originality. Great service , good and overall intimate experience

I decided to try this and very disappointed. The food is sweet. No Indian spice at all. Not sure why it's called Indian food.
