What a great night out for the family. Games, drinks, and food!! All good fun. We really enjoyed the huge selection of board games. We play a couple then switched to a video game table after dinner. Staff was super helpful and friendly.
Superb! Was here with a couple of friends two weeks ago and we had an amazing time eating food and trying out some new board games. Very large selection of games to try and excellent atmosphere with pleasing murals and décor. It was pretty busy, but with the electronic menu and game-list, everything was easy. I also appreciated them refilling my water frequently while we were playing games after eating. 10/10 Will come back again.
Great place to go for an evening of fun with friends. The interior is beautiful, staff were all very friendly, helpful, and organized. Will be back again!

The place looks nice, but does not allow you to book (only walk-ins). When we arrived they asked for our phone number to provide us with an update, as we were placed into a waiting list, after almost an hour, I asked if they were able to provide us with an estimate of time, the answer was “we can’t provide you with an estimate”…. Really?? After one hour waiting you can’t provide an estimate? The communication was all through sms and never received a comm from another party. at the end we did go to somewhere else
Very friendly staff will either recommend a fun game to suit your mood or style and will walk you through the setup and get you playing.They've got a great menu to snack on and some great drinks to wash down the food.
Went here with a few friends and enjoyed the visit - the staff were friendly and the board game selection was good.Food can be a little expensive depending on the dish, but that's as expected for board game cafes. The food itself isn't mindblowing but it's good, and was better than the food I've had at some other gaming restaurants.The next time I'm in Ottawa and looking for something to do with a few friends, I'll definitely keep this pub in mind.
Shutdown or no, they haven't lost any quality in their service, quality of food or selection of beer. Previous staff is back and expect a really good time here, worth coming back again and again.
Simply amazing! Great, food, big selection of fun games, and fantastic service. I have been bringing our students there since 2016, we always have a good time. Our groups attend a lot of venues in Ottawa, Level one and the Loft is our fave hang out. It's gonna be yours too....go check it out!
Outstanding service and the beer and food was top notch. Kids loved this place also. Our server set up new games and gave us many ideas to keep us entertained. 5 star!
