We put in a big order today last minute for our entire office and we were not disappointed at all with the quality or services. Great friendly staff and delicious food at a great price! They took the time to hear the entire order by phone and managed to squeeze in serving walk ins at the same time. When I picked up the food I was pleasantly surprised at the inside restaurant being quite nice and found a secret indoor party spot. Fit with a full kitchen, bar and dance floor. It's bright and has a large parking lot. Lots of possibilities! Kudos on the great spot!
Amazing service. First time trying Lebanese food outside of gyros. Food was delicious and freshly cooked and made. Very kind staff. Would recommend as a family restaurant. Had a wonderful experience with my 6 year old who has promised we will go back again soon. The staff member who served us helped make the experience all the more unique and memorable.
Would recommend avoiding. Food is straight up Gross, non-edible. The chicken was rubber, the tomatoes were rotten, the bread was hard and dry, the veggies and salad were all molting, and the garlic was chunky and sour. The potatoes are under cooked. Ended up just tossing the order and getting subway.
The best shawarma I have had in Ottawa so far. I have lived here for 10 years now and tried many places. This one has given us amazing portion size and the taste is true labanese. We got a family portion and will have leftovers. I'm hoping the next time we return it will be the same. Also the potatoes were so good and the beef had great flavor.
It’s ok, the woman working can be a little stingy with the toppings. I usually have to ask for extra lettuce/toum since she puts baby portions. We usually order from shawarma palace but this place is close to our home so it’s just more convenient and it’s never busy when I go in.
First visit. Ordered platters. Overall quite good. Generous portions, which we took home for lunch tomorrow. The server was very welcoming. We will certainly be back.
Went for my first visit and had the chicken shwarma plater. The food was not only delicious, but a great value. I could not believe how much food you get for the price. The dining room is under renovation, so we ate on the "fast food" side of the restaurant, which is more cafeteria style.I'll be going back to try the buffet when the dining room is open again.
I went for my first time last night and left quite disappointed.Sure, more than half of the restaurant is under construction, but I didn't let that influence my overall experience. I'm sharing that info just as an FYI. I'm letting the rest of my experience qualify the low rating. There were two staff members working, one on the food prep and the other on cash. The staff member on the food prep was rude and impatient. After looking at the menu for about 3 seconds I was asked "what would you like?" When I said I'd like a few minutes they seemingly got annoyed and asked the same question about 30 seconds later. After placing my order and saying that I'd like my shawarma sandwich all dressed, they stood over the empty pita and said "what would you like?" It took me a second to realize that they were asking me what toppings I'd like on the shawarma, not asking what I'd like to order (for a third time). The shawarma beef was dry with an unexpected and unwelcome gritty texture. The meat tasted like a 50/50 blend of traditional Lebanese flavours and Indian curry flavours. It was really bizarre. On a positive note, the vegetables were fresh and flavourful both in my side salad and on the shawarma sandwich itself. I would have loved a fattoush salad, but when I asked for a side fattoush salad I was met with "a house salad?" At that point I just said "sure." I didn't see a fattoush salad on the menu, so it's quite possible that's not an option. The second staff member working the cash was friendly and courteous and genuinely made us feel welcome there, but I can't say the same for the other. There were some other disappointing observations as well, like the amount of unnecessary waste of putting everything in take-out containers, using plastic cutlery, and not having aluminum, glass, and plastic recycling collection bins.I usually say I'll give any establishment a second chance, but I'm 99% certain Lebanese Palace won't get that opportunity.
Didn’t take the chance to listen to my order just made a random. Chicken shawarma with all these sauces while I wanted mixed. Advertised a special on sign outside and did not honour it
Had the worst shawarma of my life here which resulted in utter food poisoning. This experience has taken shawarma out of my life for a very long time. Their food made me throw up 3 2-3 times at least
