The most authentic Morrocan food I've tasted in Canada to date!Don't be fooled by this restaurant's location in Byward Market's food court. The owners are hospitable, the space is immaculately clean, the ambience is chilled, and the food is a gastronomic delight.We ordered the Couscous Royal platter, a generous serving - enough for three people to share. Succulent, well-seasoned meats... Complex, layered spices... Nutrient-dense food. The mint tea is divine too!
We went with some friends and my husband and we were really surprised by the place and its wonderful food. . very delicious food and good service. I recommend visiting this restaurant.
Ordered a bit of everything (Couscous Royal - something along the lines of that) with lamb that was incredibly tender and juicy, merguez, beef balls, quarter chicken leg, couscous, rice and veggies. We also ordered some mint tea at the end - lovely and warm service.
Incredibly friendly, fast service! The food was delicious with generous portions and everything came out piping hot. We will definitely be back.

Generous Royal Plate platter fed two of us, with enough left over for another meal. Nicely seasoned chicken, lamb shank, merguez sausages, couscous, with mounds of rice and crisp, fresh vegetables. Lovely baklava with just enough honey to hold the walnuts together.

We were in Ottawa for a week and ate there 3 times. That is saying a lot because we are foodies and there are hundreds of restaurants in the area. Great food (try the Pastilla), very warm, friendly service and a great location. Loved it!
If you gonna go to ByWard Market, I strongly recommend this restaurant!!The food was so delicious. We had fish and chicken. There were a lot of fresh vegetables in the dish, super nice staff, reasonable price and good service.
