We went to La Favorita yesterday for dinner, and here’s our review:The service was excellent, with employees that follow rules. The food came quick and was delicious! The portions were good, a small pizza is the size of a circular pillow, and everything is very filling. 2-3 kids could eat one adult meal of noodles. We didn’t order and kids meals, but we shared. Dessert was delicious! We ordered New York Cheese Cake, Tea, Chocolate and Lemon Tartufo, etc. Excellent thing! Waiter was nice and polite. Hope to come again!

The restaurant has a good vibe in terms of the ambiance. It’s got a good Italian touch. The beer was quite nice. It was my first time when I tried an Italian beer (Moretti). The pizzas were also delicious. The dough was definitely freshly baked (one could make out the difference) and the pizzas were definitely well made. The reason for my three stars is because of the slow service. They took quite a while to bring out the pizzas. So my only comment would be if they could better their service time, it would be perfect.

If you order from skip the dishes, your food will be on time and probably amazingly fresh judging from the previous reviews. However, if you eat in the restaurant it is a whole different experience. Skip takes priority and tables are waiting for hours before receiving their meal. The servers can’t even be bothered to ask if you want refills on your drinks while you mindlessly wait. The owner sits around and chit chats with his staff instead of going to the kitchen to help his cooks since he says he’s so short on staff.Food is served to the same table at all different times. My meal came 45 minutes before the last one was served. All tables were like this. They make all the spaghetti for the whole dining room the serve, all linguine for the whole dining room and all tables and serve. You get the idea. The laughable part is that one person at our table ordered buttered noodles, and theirs was the last to be served….. like butter + noodles and it takes 4 hours to make ?Salmon was served raw in our party, chicken is over done, nothing was consistent except for long wait times for subpar food. My Greek salad was literally a whole bell pepper and some cucumber with italien dressing.Wouldn’t recommend unless you order through skip.

Terrible experience for my first time. I asked for brushetta and was given a toasted baguette... possibly garlic bread, which was even a poor attempt. The tortellini was awful, smelt and tasted burnt and the "white sauce" was too liquidy and anything but pleasant. My cake was thrown into a box upside down, with no care. Very disappointed and will not be ordering here again.

Visited for lunch while visiting Ottawa and its Little Italy. Service was helpful and attentive. We were seated in a fairly cozy spot on their patio outside which helped with the experience.Tried one of their pizzas which was the Seafood Pizza (Frutta Di Mare) which came in a thin crust but was a crispy golden brown. There was a good mix of seafood on the pizza and was able to feed three with a large size. Recommended to get a larger size if looking to share or feed multiple.

The pizza was disappointing (world famous..?). Tastes like $5 frozen pizza from walmart but it costs $20. Also not sure why we were seated in a side room when the main dining area with better decor had no patrons. Definitely would not recommend, extremely disappointed.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was really warm and inviting and the service was very attentive without being overbearing. The perfect spot for a lovely dinner with family, friends or a date.

Our server was very helpful: she checked with the kitchen to ask about dishes/sauces containing food intolerances and there was no issue at all with making a few changes to accommodate (probably because most dishes are made to order!)I had the the seafood pizza (no tomato sauce) and it was delicious! The fried zucchini was also good - nice big wedges!

The dishes were amazing - coming from someone who is picky about “authentic italian food”. Their calamari was super crispy and all the pasta sauces were so fresh+perfectly seasoned. The place feels really welcoming, probably partly because the owner treats his customers like family. Excited to come back when we can dine-in, it’s so pretty (especially for dates and such).

This place is so amazing. We’ve been for dine in (great experience), and then ordered a take out pizza for New Year’s Eve. Despite what I’m sure was a busy night, our food was ready not only on time but early. We were even given a dessert on the house for our “wait”, which was not only minimal but on us for arriving early! The customer service was well beyond my expectations. The food is amazing and so are the prices. I recommend everyone I know to try and can’t wait to go back! Thank you for a great experience!
