Great spot for dine-in! love there nice atmosphere and there lights! Now on to the food! I l absolutely adore their singapore noodles, wonton soup and their sushi! I ordered the empress and crouching tiger roll and it was so delicious! The thai chicken bites were nice but not my fave! My husband enjoyed his beef chow mien. I'll see you next time!
Kung-fu BistroRevised review - this restaurant has new owners, there has been significant changes such as new sushi menu, please disregard orginial review below as this was months ago, different owners.A pretty unimpressive take out dinner for a family of 8, we ordered a ton of stuff, was informed that it has newer owners which removed the sushi from the menu, the Chinese was very very mid-par and expensive, spent 200$+ which felt underwhelming to say the least.
Very pleased with our takeout order tonight! Every last dish, our reaction was just better and better. The egg rolls were delicious, as were the potstickers. Kung-fu beef had just a hint of spiciness (could have used a touch more imho) and absolutely loved the chicken Chow mein. The lemon chicken wasn't my fave but my husband loved it. All in all it was a really great meal for a reasonable price given the portion sizes. Also appreciated the solid containers - I think they're biodegradable, but they were not flimsy at all! Will definitely be ordering from here again!
We had not ordered from here in awhile. Probably a good year or more. Back then, we had a few go to items that we would order, Harmony Chicken, General's Chicken, Pork Egg Rolls, Chicken Fried Rice and Shanghai Noodles. Last night we decided to get take out from here and, it was less then stellar. The biggest problem was that the chicken orders were both over-cooked, and dry. The sauce was barely enough to cover it but not enough to help moisten it. We did eat half of it and the the remainder we discarded. It would not have reheated well being so dry. The Chicken Fried Rice was nothing more then a few pieces of diced chicken, with rice that was slightly colored with soya sauce. Also, the container seemed quite small. Not worth almost $10. The Shanghai Noodles were just alright. Very disappointing because we always used to enjoy the food here and drive from out of town to get take-out from here. The picture are not great quality because it was on my plate.
This used to be a decent takeout particularly for Stittsville however seems like it may have changed ownership used to be a family business. The food quality has beef steadily deteriorating now for some time until now the last pickup order something as simple as sweet and sour chicken balls once home no sauce whatsoever. This is kid of like an Asian restaurant that can’t cook rice. It is the very last time I will ever pay any money to this place. Regrettably I have to give one star to post, does not deserve it
I have never had a worst Chinese food until this place. I have been going to Rideau Restaurant in Kanata for the past 20 years and decided to give this try, biggest mistake. I ordered special fried rice, cryspy fried chicken, and salt and pepper shrimp. All of them except shrimp was worst food. They used very old meats. Chicken was old and pork was very old. I have very strong sense of smell. All of them had smell. Rice was very dry. Chicken was old.
First time going there and was not disappointed. The food portions were big and the food was great. Best chinese food I've had in a very long time. The girls working were friendly, there was no internet that day. Will be going back for sure.
I heard about this place from a friend and i stopped by to get some dinner. I enjoyed my wonton noodles soup and even through it wasn't on the menu they made it for me! Thanks again to the staff and the chefs!
I went on Saturday for a take-out. Very nice service, and the food excellent. The lady who attended us suggested the noodles and the vegetables. Sure, I'll come back!!!
Thank you for the delicious dinner last night that I could share with my mother in celebration! Very fragrant and delicious flavours, especially the Thai Golden Curry Chicken! Looking forward to coming back!
