The food here is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and I strongly recommend this place.
A hidden gem in Ottawa. Lots of unique food dishes to choose from and the food comes out promptly. The staff are very nice and attentive. The artwork inside the restaurant is amazing - every time I go I see new things that I've missed. The ramen is pretty good, the yakoyaki is not bad, but I would never order the chashu Don again. I love their skewer options - they are a must try and the price is great! The follow covid procedures well.
Delicious food, reasonable prices, and excellent service. We ordered one of each of the four available Japanese craft beers and asked if we could save the bottles. Our server not only agreed, but took the bottles to the back, cleaned, and bagged them for us. The food was phenomenal, too. This is definitely going to be our go-to Japanese place in Ottawa going forward!
Was not expecting a lot from this small restaurant but I was pleasantly surprised. The interior was very thoughtful decorated and you can really tell that they really tried to replicate a certain dining experience which I appreciate! The pricing was very reasonable. The ramen was quite good and the chicken was fantastic. The chicken really hit the spot and they gave a very generous portion of kewpie mayo ?. The best part of eating here was the staff. Our server/host was very accommodating and answers our questions about the menu items. There was a male server that was just fantastic and made our casual dinning experience feel so special. I will definitely be going back!
We ended up here randomly, and I'm glad we did. The setting of the restaurant was great, the staff were helpful and very friendly, and the food was phenomenal. The options for drinks were extensive, and there were lots of Japanese food options. Highly recommend.
Authentic Japanese pub food with a great atmosphere, gorgeous decor, and some of the friendliest staff ever. Was also very glad to see them still taking COVID seriously. Don't hesitate to go, this place is a gem.
Right from checking our vaccine certificates to handling the final bill, all transactions were done with grace, charm and speed by our very friendly and courteous male server. All food was delicious and the small plates make sharing different appetizers very easy! Definitely worth checking out for a wonderful experience. Décor is very intriguing and delightful.
Absolutely ADORE this restaurant. Came back for my first dining experience last weekend and the protocols they have in place to keep them and us safe made me feel so much better about being out and about. Requiring QR codes and regular cleaning is much appreciated ?As always, the service is EXCEPTIONAL and I appreciate everyone who works there, especially the front staff. The food is also amazing 100% of the time and they are readily able and willing to accommodate dietary restrictions and even picky eaters (like me hehe). The atmosphere and mural are 100% lovely and if you're not ready for a dine-in experience yet they do takeout and package it so well so that you get the optimum experience once you're home.Much love to the Kuidaore staff for making this my favourite restaurant. ???
We came here with our family of 5 for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn’t too busy, 2 other tables of 2 were already seated and dining. They require proof of QR codes before entering and being seated, which is noted at the front steps before entry. The place itself has a cute, anime theme style to it - which our kids all really enjoyed. The colours and decor was a relaxing type of vibe. Staff was very friendly and efficient with service. The food portion to price value is fair. Nothing too upscale or anything. Definitely family friendly. Everything taste great. Our kids are pretty picky when it comes to their Ramen broth but they really enjoyed this location and how it was prepared. They finished everything! We will definitely return.
Service was excellent. Restaurant decor was beautiful! We enjoyed the appetizers (karaage, gyoza, takoyaki, and wasabi fire shrimp). For our mains, we had the tonkatsu curry don, tonkotsu ramen, and tonkotsu black ramen. Ramen portion was good but the flavour was just alright... I prefer other ramen spots in the city. The tonkatsu curry don portion was a bit small for the price (pic makes it look bigger). 4/5
