Everything was absolutely ? delicious! The service was great:D Good price:D
Kelseys used to be a staple for me and my friends in the late 90's to early 2000's in Edmonton. We lost this gem in Western Canada years ago. I was so pumped to see one while visiting Ottawa. Brought back lots of great memories and the food was just as on point as it was 20 years ago!
Kelseys South KeysOk, well.. this is not a negative review as I do understand how the last 2 years have been for finding effective staff and maintaining strong reviews during times of uncertainty. This is to be constructive as the food was decent, nice new decor, kelseys for me was the king of wings but the quality slipped overtime, been a couple years I can admit but the wings were very boring and just mid-par, the Moscow mule I had for the ketel vodka promotion was incredible though, honestly big kudos on the drink menu all around. We were a seated table of 12 yet our server seemed to be in space, I had to constantly get up to ask her for something and we waited 30 mins to order and 1 hour for the food to show up, seems weird as I figured this place would be hammering burgers and drinks out easily.Unfortunate to give one of my favorite Cara brands a mid level review but much improvement is required to meet basic levels of customer care and hey.. maybe bring back your legendary all you can eat wing deal.
Will not be ordering from here again. These ribs were so tough and inedible. They were rubbery and not fall off the bone. Spent 50 bucks on ribs and didn’t eat any of them. Gross.
Lunch choices sparse
I loved Kelsey's Roadhouse when they had the Peppercorn Burger, it was AMAZING. One of the few hamburgers that can defeat the standard issue McDonalds Hamburger.Unfortunately they do not have this one anymore, it makes me so sad. I still go here and now I try to create my own Peppercorn Burger by putting a crapload of pepper on my burger and it's close but not quite the same.I hope they bring back the Peppercorn Burger because that will bring me back too. The Spinach dip and Potato Skins are amazing here as well.
We have been many times and enjoyed delicious meals every time. We really look forward to sitting on the balcony every summer. Highly recommend.
Extremely noisy which was a shame because it really reflected poorly on the restaurant. I understand that you want to make sure customers have a good time, but having 1 or 2 patrons screaming in the bar really makes it hard for families to have a reasonably pleasant sunday dinner.
Great service, excellent menu choices, overall excellent
Good food. Prices have gone up exceptionally. A half order of nachos (+beef) and 1-lb wings with 1 piece of garlic toast and a Pepsi was $48+tip (this week).. not sure I see the value for money here anymore. Likely will not be returning to Kelsey’s.
