What a beautiful waterfront to eat by, whilst people watching. It's a big enough menu with choices for everyone to enjoy. I agree with other people's suggestion to try the seafood boxsty. It is a mix of seafood accompanied by a delicious sauce, veg and potatoe choice. It was soooooo good! I usually complain at other places that you don't get enough sauce with a meal. There was more than enough sauce to go with every morsel of crab, scallops, shrimp and salmon. Please try it!! ? You won't regret it! Kelly's doesn't take reservations. It is a little bit of a wait to get a table but it's worth it, I promise. Servers were lovely and are not pushy to get you out of there. So, go. Enjoy!
Small restaurant along very pretty river.Has very good food - even the fries are great! The menu also has a wide variety of options, from sandwiches to salads, pastas to seafood, but also does not have so many options that it becomes difficult to choose. The restaurant has nice desserts (I think it was cheesecakes that day), but if you're looking for ice cream, head over the the store on the opposite side of the building.There are two things to remember if you eat here. One, seating at a table only happens once everyone in your party is there, and two, due to its location, it does not have a public restroom.Restaurant is a great stop on way to Ottawa, highly recommend.Parking: Restaurant can offer boat parking/docking, due to its location of the river.Restaurant shares parking with the store on other side of building, and many customers also appear to park along the side/curb of the road. Parking might make it look more crowded than it actually is at that time
Nice patio for summer hangouts. You need to reserve a table if you need one at the edge by the water.Big portions for the meals.I found the food to be a little salty.The service is fine
Amazing location by the water, great fresh fish , fish and chips was unreal with tartar sauce ? to die for. Affordable and friendly professional wait staff. Go early as there is always a line up to get in and get a table highly recommend this restaurant to anyone In the area. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.
A must when you are coming to The Manotick Area - food is delicious, cold drinks, fast and friendly service and sitting by the Ottawa River and watching boats go by is so cool ?
I had the blackened tuna, and it was amazing. Caesar was strong and delicious. Neat spot with a great view, and they have ice cream in the shop!
Come by boat or car. The food is worth the wait.Gas Update: it appears they no longer sell gas to boats at the dock. As you can see in the picture the sign no longer says boat gas. (Gas is still available if you come by car but NOT by boat.)
This is a very nice and cute spot to grab lunch with a beautiful view on the water. I went today with my family and it wasn’t crowded at all, I found it relaxing and loved the atmosphere:) The waitress was super nice and service was fast and excellent. The food was delicious, I loved the crispy fries and the generous portion of fish n chips we got. I would definitely recommend!:) p.s.: they have a booster seat for kids for maybe a 1 or 2 year old, but no high chair for babies so maybe bring your own baby seat if your child is younger (strollers are not allowed).
The cool fall day was overcast but that didn't matter. Kelly's Landing shone bright!The heated and covered outdoor seating area is located right on the edge of the Rideau River with boats coming and going by it's the perfect place to unwind. A nice selection of beer to pair with the pub atmosphere and outstanding pub fare food. And if outdoors isn't what you want there was room inside with a nice warm fireplace too. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our meal. This was the last night before closing for the season, because of this the selection was poor (drinks included). The burger was dry and tasteless, most likely from frozen. The Caesar salad was average. Server was polite and friendly and the view was beautiful. I expected more from the food though, as the reviews did not match the food experience. May try again in the summer season as the staff may have just wanted to wrap things up for the season. All in all, I expected the food to be better and unfortunately tonight was our first time eating here.
