Relaxed casual atmosphere. Quick service. Food is tasty.
The service was good, the staff were nice and the food came quickly. The smoked meat had good flavour but was very chewy, I could barely bite through the sandwich because it wouldn’t break apart. Overall it was a good experience and I’ll probably come back, but I don’t know if smoked meat is their specialty
Always friendly and fast service - delicious food! Chili is sooo gooooodddd -- the club, YUM! We are regular customers (office).I love that it's a local family run business (and they are often there, including "John' who's painted on the wall) -- perfect fit to the community.
I'm unsure you can get a friendlier place then John's, the people are great, the quality of the food and taste is great the prices are great.. the place is clean.. it can get pretty busy.. but that's because people know what to expect here and keep coming back.. it's a great little place.
Classic family diner. Dishes are often served "movie quick" and owners are on site and personable. A must try in Wellington West.
I went to John’s for breakfast today. The server told me they were full and the wait wouldn’t be long. I said no problem, and happily waited outside for a table. Two gentleman arrived just after me, went inside and were seated. I won’t be returning to this establishment based on the discrimination I faced.

Old school family vibe diner. Everyone was friendly. Even the other customers! Food was A+. Coffee was good too! Recommend for anyone who wants a great feed in a comfy environment. Only complaint was forgetting my coffee refill!!still got it in the end ???? worth the wait

First time there today, got breakfast and brought home. Damn fast, very friendly, good eats on par with Elgin Street diner (if slightly smaller portions). Definitely recommend.
