ordered butter chicken, rice and garlic naan bread. When I got the pricey bill of 33$ I told myself I was going to get one hell of a good meal! For the butter chicken and rice, the taste was fantastic!!!!Unfortunately the naan bread was tasteless and hard to bite, truly not worth that high of a price.Won't go here again because I'm sure that, if I have to pay 33$ at another Indian restaurant, I will be 100% satisfied with the whole meal
I had a bad experience here with the service. As I went in the restaurant, the sticker in the inner door said don't enter. So I waited there and then the guys said there is no dine in and it's just take away. And there was a food menu to go through the several items that they serve. I wanted biriyani which in the menu shows as 14 dollars. I told him that I would like to order lamb biriyani. After me deciding on the food and ordering, he says the menus which he kept outside for us is "several years old". Then he takes a new menu and tells me that the new price is 21 dollars. I asked him why don't you keep the new menu which he has inside the doors to keep outside and then he replies it due to virus and safety reasons?. The food was ok but very expensive.
Wow I can say I'm VERY Impressed. This Food was the most Tastiest food ever. The food there is OUTSTANDING. I can't believe that this restaurant is not 5 star! If you are coming by You have to come check out this restaurant!I recommend the Butter Chicken and really most of the chicken dishes. Naan goes REALLY good with your Butter Chicken.
Really very poor quality. I ordered sheek kebab chicken and beef each, and a chicken tikka. All of them were pathetic. Same spice and raw capsicum. Kebabs were definitely frozen as they were spongy and didn’t have skewer holes. To top it all it costed me $58. What a joke !!
Hello i ordered desert from this restaurant and butter paneer and I definitely like it was good definitely i ordered
The food amazing owner is Nice to get my food I like the food is amazing and i tried all the food on thier menu
Horrible experience. Food was not fresh, same curry base in every dish. Also, very pricey. Not customer friendly people at all. I will never visit again and do not recommend to anyone. There are better restaurants to order from in Ottawa.
Ordered 1 full tandoori chicken and butter nan ,the tandoori chicken was way too spicy than the regular spicy, the butter nan was like the frozen ones you get in the store. The next day after we had this food we got sick very badly and informed the same to the owner of the restraunt, they were supporting themselves and finally said would call back and refund the money and they never called.very bad experience.dont reccomend.
One of the best places for Indian cuisine in Ottawa. Have been going here from last 6 years. Butter chicken and Nan are the best. Apart from that I have tried most of the food items which are on the menu and everything is spot on. Reminds me of tastes back home. The best part is they give you an option of choosing a spice level (Mild, Medium & Hot) which I think is perfect. Would definitely recommend. :)
Do not recommend ordering from here.We ordered 1 app, 2 mains, and 1 dessert from here. The app, chicken tikka, seemed old and was dry with lemon, green pepper and onion pieces tossed in dry spices. The mains used the same base sauce. Extremely oily and unnecessary amount of spices. The dessert itself was slightly off/bitter.PS: The pics look way better than how the food tasted…
