Very loud, I recommend coming on Sundays because then you can pay for an unlimited pass and play all the machines. Keep in mind if you do come on Sundays there are no board games available. Food is good, a bit overpriced. Not many food options you can basically only get perogies. I would say that it’s a fun environment, especially great for younger families.
Visited here while on vacation and was so glad I got a chance to stop by. The staff were all super friendly, helpful and kind. The atmosphere was very chill and comfortable . The food was awesome & we went on a Sunday . Meaning $10 cover charge to play all the game unlimited! 10/10 can’t wait to come back again one day ❤️❤️ With love , Danny Devito ??
Haven't been in this club for years.They've revamped the place and the EV sound system is quite good.Dancing, bands, a bar and many pinball machines make this joint multi-faceted.It is located on an underground floor of the building.
Most of the machines are at 1$/credit. Just a few left at 25¢/credit. They changed up a few machines since the pandemic. I could only see one of the cocktail arcade and of course there was people sitting at it with their drinks and not actually playing the game... Staff is cool, shows are mixed at a reasonable level, not like when it first opened. Bathroom are super clean.
For the first time in the several times I have been to TARG, there was a minor issue with our order. However, it was corrected very seriously by the staff and they took excellent care of us. Great people, great venue, arguably one of the coolest things about Ottawa. Even several years deep (we hadn’t been in a few years, we’re out of town) this place rocks.My wife *was* very disappointed that the Street Fighter arcade cabinet was gone, but all these things have their reasons.
Didn't get one star for the atmosphere, drinks or the food. I actually loved the establishment especially going to the 90s night. My girlfriend and I could dance while our husband got to play video games.However what truly ruined the evening was the one bartender that asked me why I hadn't tipped on my second time up at the bar. Excuse me.... for one thing I have always tipped at the end of an evening, call it being used to bar tab days, but I also believe tipping at the end of the evening is always better as I was only at the bar twice and it's the difference between a 4 dollar tip or a 20 dollar tip.Then being told I was in the wrong by the manager when I went to settle the tip at the end of the night. I will not be returning as the customer service and overall lack of etiquette from the staff made the end of our evening a huge disappointment.Amazing concept, awful staff.
Fun arcade games unlimited play with your entrance fee! Really good champignon perogies. When we got japaleno perogies they didn’t have the sides of beets, sauerkraut so maybe they forgot.
Just a proud local gem in your face. Nothing more nothing less. You walk in. You feel world peace. Endless Arcade, a well serviced bar, friendly staff, heavenly parogies. I call them dumplings but trust me they are "all-knowing".Yep that's it. #Landmark
I had such great time at the House of Targ! The staff is super friendly and caring and the food is decent. Although the most important is that you can just forget abut the existing world upstairs and get lost in the games and have fun! Even if you go there alone you could easily meet people and enjoy. Be careful, you can forget your drink or phone by the machines! :p
