Went in on a whim, found the place to be very clean with a comfy vibe all about the place. The staff were nice and friendly with the customers. The waffle was amazing! Definitely expect to be back to try other menu items ?
This cafe is very very good. The left side of the cafe has paninis that are very tasty and savory. I had the spicy Mario (which is not really spicy) and it was delicious.After I finished my panini, I went to the other side of the room to a donut shop called Holey Confections. These are cronuts and they are better than Suzi Q (I think Suzi Q donut bread is not great). I bought six donuts. My favorites were Smore, Raspberry Lemonade and Carmello.I also bought a coffee from the cafe to go with my cronuts.I highly recommend this place for lunch or to kill time.
I recently tried the Mighty Vegan salad for take out. It was pretty good, but I was a bit disappointed that the added tofu was just raw cubed tofu - not seasoned or cooked. Seems like an odd choice as I don't think many people are fans of raw tofu. There are a number of vegan options on the menu but it would be nice to see a vegan option for every category (especially a vegan waffle!!)
Ordered food off uber eats, the sandwhich I got was Tim Hortons quality for $11 (one TINY peice of lettuce on it, the bun looked like it came from the grocery store) and my $8 smoothie tasted very watered down. I can tell there's not much almond butter in it at all or it would taste much better. Won't be returning unfortunately, especially for the price vs quality
My panini was only warm on the outside. The cheese and turkey were both cold. Despite that, it was tasty.Staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean.There are only a few tables inside and a small patio for eating there. However, you can take out.
The best panini in Ottawa! The welcoming staff creates a super warm environment with their professionalism and attentiveness. Lots of variety in the menu to fit whatever you're feeling between sweet, savoury and amazing coffee! Highly recommend.
I absolutely love Honey! I could eat the spicy Mario panini every day forever. Perfect place for a nice weekend lunch. My family and I are obsessed! Can’t wait to go back ?
One of my favourite spots in the west end for good coffee and nice seating! They have new cute positive vibes mug now too! I love love their Luigi panini! So if you are there make sure not to miss that! Also their courage cookies are amazing soft and chewy! Parking is not an issue as it’s free on their side street..
Great spot for breakfast and a coffee! I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon which was delicious, plus they have great alternative milk options for their lattes. The shop has a few tables available to sit at, but in the winter it is quite cold inside so I recommend bringing your coat. On the opposite side of the shop is Holey Confections so you can pick up a donut to go as well! Parking isn't much so be prepared to potentially walk a little bit, if their designated spots are filled.
