Unacceptable. The fish was rancid and not fresh at all. The salmon especially tasted like it was a week old sitting in the fridge. The rice used for all the pieces of sushi were extremely sweet compared to typical rice vinegar seasoning for sushi. Not sure if this is because we made a late order nearing closing today, but I something had gone terribly wrong with the ingredients today.
I don’t how a hidden spot surrounded by a Sherwin-Williams paint store and a MoneyMart has some of the best sushi in this city but it does! I love this place!Yes - you have order by phone and pick it up (not sure if they have delivery) but nothing good in life ever came for free baby! Yummy Yummy!
Simply amazing. I am happy that I had my first experience of eating sushi at Hello Sushiman. Nice decor and tasty fresh food.
Don't get me wrong, their sushi is good but their ordering system and service are horrendous! They don't offer online ordering and as a matter of fact, you have to call numerous time and try to connect to a call and that is if they decide to pickup the phone. After trying 10 times, I drove there, placed my order at 16:10 and they told me that it was gonna be ready at 19:30. I got there that evening to realize that there is a lineup but without any clear indication on whether the lineup is to pay or for pickup. Once I managed to pay, the cashier go check my ordering number just so that they could bump me to the next one and she tells me to go wait in my car for 10-15min. Their product is good, but they need to work on their client service.
Simply amazing. I am happy that I picked this restaurant to try sushi for the first time and I have become a sushi lover ever since. The food is tasty and fresh.
Amazing. Super fresh, great taste and variety. Wish they had more options for walk-in or ability to order in advance.
It's the best sushi in ottawa. Hands down. The level of freshness and quality is unmatched.Pro tip is call in the morning to place an order for the afternoon because it's hard to get through when you call after 4pm. Must try.
Best sushi in Ottawa! You can tell by how busy they are. Everyone in Orleans seems to order from here. You have to be patient though but good sushi is worth the wait. Pro tip: order ahead!
Best take home sushi. All you can eat restaurants are very expensive lately due to covid so this was the best option and it was well worth it. I plan to order again.
Great sushi spot in the East end! We walked in on Thursday a bit before 1pm to place our order and was told it'll take about 35 minutes. That was fine, as there was plenty of shopping plazas nearby to kill some time. We ordered the salmon lunch and the sashimi lunch. The fish was very fresh!
