Beautiful lunch on the patio with my sweetie! The nachos with jerked chicken was plenty of food for two 60 year olds.

Nice and cozy. Food was good, but prices a bit above average. No pancakes after brunch, though.

It's been many years since I visited. Same bar, same atmosphere. Very small portions. 18$ for a ceaser salad that was the size of a side salad. Meh...chicken was cold and not that great..

I typically like this place...great ambiance and beer selection. BUT today I had ordered a burger...worst I ever had, served very plain and delivered cold. The waitress ( working behind the bar) did not care, also did not offer condiments. SO....if hungry in the market..there are so many great food options...this is not one...but good beer selection.

Very disappointed in the service and food. Our waitress was wearing a shirt where her breasts were hanging out to the point that we almost saw her nipple. She also put in her tip before handing us the debit machine - she asked for a $40tip for poor service and poor food. The food was not good - the cauliflower in the Buffalo cauliflower wrap was not cooked so it was very hard. The Buffalo sauce is legit just Frank’s hot sauce. Spicy not Buffalo flavour. The onion rings was just fried batter with no onions in it.Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Out of all the Heart and Crowns in the city this location has to be my favourite. PreCovid you could find people of all ages here. They would have live music during the weekends and multiple open bars throughout the restaurant. This location also has a very European pub atmosphere which makes you feel transported to Uk/Ireland. The food is also really tasty. If you would like a really good dish try the appetizer platter. Anyone I know visiting Ottawa I always recommend this family of pubs.

Great service, good selection of beers. Amazing Fish and Chips. Very traditional Irish setting. I was in the Snug Pub. Keep in mind, it turns into a club close to 10pm.

Friendly and attentive staff, you will never go without a drink on your table. Food was excellent, pretty standard pub food. Amazing location, of course.

Went to have dinner and a drink. Ordered 2 margaritas. They came in a small glass, full of ice and very little margarita mix ... $27 plus tip Needless to say, we did not stay for dinner! Found another great place at half the price. Will not be returning

A quick stop at the Byward market on the way home - a late lunch and a pint at the Heart and Crown. A favourite for live music and patio scene in the summer…..or great soul food, great service and a good selection of beer all year long.
