Best espressos in town served with sparkling water and a piece of brownie! Awesome and Friendly owner and staff! Great food! Amazing atmosphere!
Our first experience at this restaurant was a great one. Their cocktails are incredible, I had a tequila sour that was fantastic. The BBQ’ed brisket was fantastic, better than BBQ I have had in Georgia and South Carolina, with a great bourbon/vinegar sauce. Service is excellent and very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Grounded is a phenomenal spot to meet with friends, enjoy some awesome food and drink, and make some new friends while you’re there. It’s not just a restaurant, it’s a community gathering spot. Amir (the owner) and the rest of his staff are so unbelievably good to their patrons, they make everyone feel like family. It’s truly a gem in our city and I hope everyone has the chance to check it out.
Went in today for take out coffees. The girls working were so friendly and helpful . Delicious espresso ?. Made my day!Glad they stayed open during the freedom convoy. Will definitely come again.
Shameful that this poor business has been robbed 4 times in the last 4 weeks. The food there is great! The service is absolutely top notch! And businesses are struggling enough with Covid, they don’t need this nonsense. Support local and frequent this place to help them recoup the lost money! Fairly priced with great coffee as well!
Great place for food and drinks. Not too busy, but it has a nice location. Staff are kind and attentive. Good portions with food sizes. Lighting and décor are modern and uplifting. Veggy options. Cheap to more moderately priced selections. Top 40 pop music, but still a good atmosphere. Recommended!
A late review from the summer, but here it is! Grounded Kitchen is a great spot to come with coworkers in the downtown core, but also great for dinner with friends! The drinks were delicious, especially the espresso martini. We enjoyed the BBQ plate and the special of the day, which was a catfish. The BBQ plate standouts were the ribs and beans!
I had been there for lunch a few times when working downtown and always enjoyed it. I went for dinner with a group of 7 for the first time and was blown away by the food - especially the specials. Had an incredible octopus carpaccio and a homemade pasta. The cocktails, wine, and beers were on point. The service was welcoming, fun, energetic, and attentive. Would recommend.
Second visit and both times the dishes ordered were just a notch above the standard good food in a decent resto. They must have a particularly good chef. Nice wine selection and reasonably priced.
The service of the waitress who seemed to be new and the guy who I assume was the owner was so friendly and incredible. My friend had a burger and she loved it. On the other hand, I had brisket and some parts of it were so dry that I was physically struggling to swallow it because it felt like I was eating an actual tree bark. The fries were great though so i'd be willing to give this place another go!
