I don’t know is it us which were so hungry or is it the resto itself. The foods are sooo good. The best Korean food we ever had in Canada. The star is the hot and spicy chicken, but be careful, it’s so hoot yet soo satisfying. The seafood pajeon (omelette) also so delicious, crispy and perfect. Even the free kimchi, radish pickle and sweet potato also very good. Moreover, the service is excellent, the food come fast and the staffs are friendly.

Went there a few days ago with some friends for dinner. I ordered the teriyaki chicken k-bowl while my friends had the fried chicken. The portion of the k-bowl was very generous with lots and lots of meat and it was very delicious. My friend had me try one of his chicken pieces. It was not too greasy, the breading was very crispy and well seasoned and there was a lot of meat on that piece. It's very pricey but it's very good quality. It's fried chicken the way it should be made. The staff there was also very friendly and efficient. I will definitely be coming back.

I love fried chicken, but I find that it often has two issues: it’s undercooked, and it retains an off-putting chicken smell. This place has none of that. Their chicken is cooked perfectly so that it’s still juicy, but not at all slimy. It’s then tossed in a lip-smacking sauce (garlic soy, in our case) that makes you wanna go back bite after bite. They got a mark docked because our take out order was ready quite a bit later than promised, and the vegetable gyozas were not good.Other than that, I highly recommend this place.

It's been a while since I ordered my favourite Korean fried chicken from here. It never failed to disappoint me in terms of taste and size of servings. Today, however is a different story. Not only were the chicken, smaller pieces but over fried to almost burnt. It no longer taste the original fried chicken and too salty as well. Either it's a new owner or cook or both. 2 thumbs down for me this time. I don't think I will go back.

Super good sushi. I ordered some for my lunch. Yam, salmon and avocado roll with a side of rice and kimchi. The rolls are big and the rice is really fresh. Spicy mayo was good too. Only thing is there was no soya sauce as most places put in orders so ask.

So the restaurant moved down beside sansotei. Food is still alright although my friend’s bulgogi was dry and not saucy like it used to be. The interior is horrible and looks like they just moved in. Ceiling and some walls unfinished; weird green led lights. They no longer serve like a proper dine in restaurant and everything is brought in to go containers with plastic plates, cups, forks, and spoons, (not sure what we tipped so much for). Also prices went up quite a bit. Two people dine for $120? The old location had such a cozy vibe and service was better. Maybe the owners changed? This place is nothing like it used to be. Very sad

Ordered the half (original crispy) and half (sweet & spicy) for takeout tonight. It came with a nice portion of side pickled daikon which was very good. Even after a 20min drive from restaurant to back home, the chicken was still crispy and warm. Original crispy was good but I personally liked the sweet & spicy a lot more. Flavours were on point! Will definitely try the other flavours another time and looking forward to dining in when possible.

Service has gone completely downhill since they moved beside sansotei on bank street. We're long time supporters since their dolsot cafe location beside their Korean supermarket, often having it at least once a week.Since they've moved, we decided to support them by calling to order pick up from them directly instead of ordering via Uber. However it seems like they kept bumping our order. At first we were told 1 hour wait. So just in case we called to ask if it was ready before we went to pick it up. They said another 30 minutes wait with no apologies and the manager was also being rude about it. We won't be coming back

We’ve been long time supporters for years since they were Dolsot at Bank and Catherine. Now unfortunately it looks like their customer service is going down since moving. Called in and ordered for pickup to try to give them support without them having to pay Uber, was told it would be 50 minutes and then the person on the phone said it was actually going to take an hour. One hour passes by and just to be safe we decided to call to make sure the food would be ready before going, they now tell us it’s going to be another 30 minutes. 1.5 hours is a ridiculous wait time and they never called us to update us so if we didn’t call to make sure we would’ve driven there and waited another 30 minutes. Unfortunately won’t be returning here

Easily the best Korean place in Ottawa. Very good bulgogi (Korean BBQ Beef)
