Best fries and Im an expert. Glen’s father had mobile chip wagons in Hull, QC in the 60’s, they came to your door. I have been eating Joe’s/Glen’s fries since about 1960!
Reasonable prices, very good food, crispy fries, tasty poutine and a good selection of both drinks and condiments. Perfect example of getting the foundations right.
Apparently the fries are cooked in lard instead of irregular oil which makes them SO MUCH MORE CRISPier all the serve is amazing fast yummy I love in I’ll but will gladly scooter you his chip truck me and my man love this place keep up the great work
Never had a bad meal...Staff know us...at least once a week my Grandfather and I visit this place...very friendly...been coming here since they first opened..
Poutine was DELICIOUS! Best poutine I've ever had in my life by far. They layer the cheese curds and and gravy which was amazing. The toppings are very generous, the small poutine I got was more like a medium size at most other places. ABSOLUTELY recommend.
Whenever I am in the Westboro area I stop for fries. Generous proportions. Delicious.
Awesome fries! Glens is the best fries in town! I could be wrong but I remember being a kid going to the Canadian tire that used to be across the street and getting chips!! I’m not sure if it was Glen’s but they were great back then too!
We have been there many, many times to Glen's over the years and the chips and gravy have been excellent. Unfortunately, the last couple of times we have been and they were asked for extra gravy and they just ignored our request. The female employee just ignored our request and gave a dirty look when they were asked a second time for more gravy. It is not like they are giving it away as when a person orders chips with gravy you have to pay extra for it. We have been going to Glen's for years and we have recommended many people to go there for chips. Well, our trips to Glen's are coming to an end and instead of recommending Glen's I will be discouraging them.
Great little spot and I'm grateful it's here. I wish they accepted tap but it's cash only.
