This is a really nice modern coffee shop. I had a mocha and a avocado ? toast here. They were really great?. The mocha☕ flavour was excellent. The avocado toast had several bread options too. I would say this is an ideal breakfast place even though the price was slightly on the higher side.I really like the interior ( plain and simple). They have two interior room and outdoor seating too. The 2nd interior room is quite and ideal for working. The service was good. Moreover the rooms have high sealings making us feel like huge rooms. They sell their coffee beans too in the shop.I went here early 7:30 am on a sunday. When I reached it was just me and another customer but as it was 8, the place was pretty full. But the service was fast so not a problem. The waste tray was full by the time I left so that was the only problem I faced?. They have parking too.

Randomly walked in here while shopping in the area. The cappuccino, cold brew coffee and brownie we got were all 4 stars. The reason for two star review is that when I asked for a plate and fork for the brownie I was told "we are closing soon so we are not using them". This was at exactly 6:04 PM and they close at 7:00PM.

I'm surprised this cafe has high reviews. We went on a weekend and this was my experience:- the place wasn't very clean. There was food on the floor around the garbage and some tables.- the bathroom was very untidy. I only washed my hands.- the selection is slim. We got a chocolatine and it was good but the ham and cheese toast wasn't worth it. The cheese was oily and the dish was so basic it felt like I could have made it better at home. Basically toast, ham and cheese.- the coffee was fine. Nothing over the top.I think it was the lack of cleanliness that really ruined it for me. At one point a lady even showed up with her dog bowl and the girl behind the counter filled it up with water for her but there was water from the bowl dripping on the counter and the server did not have gloves on so it was just gross to watch.Probably won't go back.

I had a fancy sandwich craving today and after scoping out some nearby places online, I decided to check this spot out. I'm so glad I did - this was a great find! It was busy but the staff were friendly and the sandwiches were amazing. I got the Italian sandwich and my husband got the club. I also got the double chocolate banana bread. I'll definitely be back for another sammie and to try out all the sweets one at a time.

It’s been a minute since I ventured out of the comfort and familiarity of the ‘hood to enjoy a coffee. So, when a friend suggested this place, I jumped at the chance. It’s big, airy and bright - definitely not what I was expecting, but it works. The maple latte and cheese cake were on point! Service was ok - perhaps a bit distracted because it was nearing closing time.I imagine a big place like this takes much time and effort to keep up. There were some signs that ‘to do list’ wasn’t a priority, but that doesn’t take away from the possibilities.Next time you find yourself near the Train Yards, and need a pick me up, head over here!

My daughter is from Toronto and managed to find the specialty pastries store in Ottawa. She ordered online variety of pastries to be delivered for her father's birthday. Best pastries ever!!! especially the Almond Croissant and the Greek Yogurt Cherry Danish. As for delivery packaging, perhaps to plastic wrap the soft banana bread in a separate bag to avoid splitting the lovely banana bread.

I am a regular at this location I would be giving 5 stars if it wasn't for the manager/owner(?). The venue staff food and drinks are great, but the attitude of the manager towards the staff always creates an uncomfortable atmosphere when she's around. She talks to everyone like they are incompetent.I am actually chocked that they manage to keep such great staff with someone like that in charge and with the current job market. On top of that she has the worst customer service of the group by very far. After the cold service that I got from her today I will be taking my money elsewhere thank you very much.

Favorite coffee shop in Ottawa. I recommend it for a delicious new place to try. I feel it's a great place to become a regular.

Today I sat down for a morning coffee as I finished my work. Asides from the coffee and their delicious flatbread, the Figaro staff is absolutely wonderful and incredibly genuine. One of the workers, Aya, was incredibly helpful and provided such a welcoming environment for me, she really is an absolute delight. Highly recommend this location, they really do make you feel at home!

The shop itself has a very nice atmosphere, high ceilings, pretty lights etc. But the coffee is overpriced for what you get. The iced coffees are not at all good, the coffee tasted burnt, the sugar was hard crystals at the bottom. I couldn't finish my coffee... However the sandwhiches are very good, and worth the price. If it wasn't for the bad iced coffee I would give a better rating.
