We loved our brunch on the patio at EVOO! And we had a perfect view of the bicycle race that was going on. The bread, croissant and fruit were such a nice touch. The ambiance, decor, staff, drinks and food were all top shelf! Highly recommend.
Absolutely FANTASTIC food. Ambiance is very nice too. Food is a bit pricey but the taste is worth it. If you’re a larger person or very hungry, you may want to order “for two”.
Really delicious Greek food. A bit pricey but everything is now. The shrimp and dip combo were especially nice.
After a Very long wait... my partner and I waited so long to come back to Evoo to eat the delicious meals of the Sea!!. Well, she was the picker of the amazing plates of food. We had a Blast! We were treated excellently, the service was quick and trust me it was pretty busy. Anyways, The food was amazing as we once knew years ago and I tried the Octopus for the 1st time and I really Loved it!Next Time! Will bring more friends to this excellent place of food of the Sea!Til Next time!
my absolute favorite restaurant in the city. everything is 100%. the food, the atmosphere, service. everything. highly recommend any time of day.
Updated - March 5, 2022.Went back with a friend. Food is still amazing. Get the octopus, you won't be sorry. I love that the plates are mostly designed to share, so you get to try many things.Had a lovely meal with friends. We ordered several dishes to share amongst us. All were tasty and great portions. Will go back again.
Amazing fresh grilled calamari plate accompanied with gin drinks, Negroni of the Gods and Evoo sour, exceptional athmosphere, we were graciously seated eventhough we had no reservations, excellent start to our evening!

I got takeout from here 2 weeks ago. Went all out and ordered the seafood for 4 people. Lamb chops, the dips app, the haloumi cheese with bread app, the veggie apps. I paid slightly over $300 all in but was excited cause the food visually looked great and cooked well. Everything besides the dips and haloumi cheese app had 0 flavour. No salt, no seasoning, nothing at all. Actually the fried calamri had flavour in the batter..but the grilled calamari, octopus, the fish, even the shrimp that looked seasoned..had no flavour. I'll be honest we ate a bit..then just ate the apps..and the rest went into the garbage cause it would take up space and not be eaten. Maybe in the restaurant is different... but when taking away all the drinks and atmosphere..the food is bad. Ive had way better greek food at much cheaper restaurants here in Ottawa. Honestly a waste of money unless you want to take insta pics and tag that you are there. Mati, same owners, serves better food and will cost you the same-ish. Gave it a 3 cause the food...looked good.
I'm not used to paying *that* much for a meal and being quite so underwhelmed. Two starters, four mains, & four cocktails came to $325. The food was OK, but we were all expecting *way* better for the money. Wine *started* at $75 per bottle. We skipped that. Sorry, but we can't recommend EVOO.
