We had take out from this place yesterday. The food tasted really amazing, flavours are amazing, the only complaint I have with them is quantity of curries. I mean the portions are so small with respect to amount of money they take. You guys really need to increase portions for your curry. We all felt like we were just dipping into all the sabjis we ordered from here.
The service was good. The host, servers and I think manager were really nice and accommodating. However the food was so so and one of the cups we had had lipstick on it. Quite disconcerting considering Covid. They did nothing to compensate for that but did give us an option to replace or not be charged for another dish that was not good. The samosas were good and the mango chicken was nice as well.
Visited with family a while back. What a great experience! Shobana and Jay helped us and they were really nice and friendly. Told us about all the options and costs for the buffet. The food was really good, had a variety of salads, different vegetables, wonderful snacks and desserts as well. Will definitely visit again.
Very good buffet and the service was very good as well. There was a large variety of dishes at the buffet and it was well worth the price. Came with a few friends and we were all satisfied. Will be back again.
We've eaten at East India Company for years, and the staff and owner have always been gracious and grateful each time. Before the pandemic, we were lucky to attend a wedding catered by East India, and they had the freedom to come up with several exquisite Indian dishes. During the pandemic, it has been great to take out familiar comfort foods, which we find to be flavorful, of high quality, and accurately portioned. This is the type of diverse local business I like to support!
An absolute must in the area. Some of the best Butter Chicken I've ever had with massive portions. Staff has been incredibly polite the few times I've gone to pick-up, and the restaurant always seems clean and compliant with lockdown rules. If you're looking for Indian food, it's the best you'll find in Ottawa.
The food isn't bad. My issue was that my food was very cold and the portions are a joke. If I ate at the buffet I would have paid less and gotten much more food. The food in the pics was $60 of food. Unbelievable. I will never order take out from here again.
Recently had lunch (buffet) with a friend. I know nothing about Indian food but all items I tried from the buffet were delicious. Gotta love those little desserts.Server was pleasant and attentive.
Best food. We enjoyed a lot.... It was break being there. Must visit
Went for buffet and both the times there was a good variety of food, both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The ambience is good, seating is comfortable and the overall feel is positive. The appetizers, main course and the sweets are delicious.Things that could be done better - music choice was not good on both the occasions; naan/bread costs extra which should be included in the buffet.
