This was our first time here. We celebrated our 15th anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The maître d was very attentive. The food selection was amazing; from starter to dessert. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. We will definitely be returning frequently!
Our server Vito was amazing he knew his stuff and made fantastic recommendations! Food was so delicious, portions perfect and price was very reasonable. Would return and highly recommend. Such a nice gem!
Divine food, simple menu, nice wines and impeccable service. (4th visit)We were a group of four, there on Saturday the 30th of April. Our meals were simply exquisite. But our waiter (Mike) was next level. He was attentive (without being over-bearing), funny and inviting. There was not one question that he did not have the answer to right off the bat. I'm sure he would have had Trigonometry answers had I asked.Thank you yet again for a wonderful evening.

Last evening my wife and I decided to try eating at Cucina da Vito (Vito's Kitchen). It's a place that we've been wanting to try for quite some time now. It's situated next door to the Soulstone sushi resturaunt, another place we enjoy. To look at the outside of the place, Cucina da Vito doesn't really look like much. It has blackened windows and not much in the way of signage. The small grocery/meal preparation place they operate, next door to the restaurant is more visible. Anyway, when we entered Cucina da Vito we were greeted by Vito himself. He asked to see our vaccine passports (I'm glad some private establishments are still choosing to do this) and then he gave us our choice of seats. The eating room is very well done. Lots of brick and decorative heavy wooden beams across the ceiling. The outside of the place does nothing to hint at how nice the inside is. our server was the nephew of the owner, which only added to the charm of this place. He was a real gem and served us with a particular enthusiasm. My wife and I each had one of the evening specials, of which there were many. The pasta and the proteins were so richly done in their own sauces. Add the wine recommendation to the meal and I think this is the best Italian meal experience we've ever had. This place deserves the full 5 stars!
I have been to Cucina da Vito more than once and I have never been disapointed. The food is absolutely amazing and the Staff are outstanding. You cannot go wrong with their standard menu but their nightly specials are excellent. If you haven't been yet, make a reservation, go sit and relax with a glass of wine (or a Bourbon Old Fashioned) and enjoy the incredible dishes they have to offer.
Absolutely the best service we have received anywhere. Everyone is extremely professional and welcoming. The server made sure we were well taken care of the entire evening. The food is perfection as always. I can’t recommend this hidden gem right in Orleans enough!
