Pretty good pizza here. The crust is delicious. We ordered the chicken bacon sweet onion pizza with a white Alfredo sauce and cheese. Overall the pizza was just a little bland, not much contrast in flavor. Can't taste the bacon, and too oily. Still pretty good as the pizza does taste fresh and is served hot. Still looking for my favorite pizza place though :)
Mediocre at best!Our server was pleasant and attentive. The food arrived quickly considering how busy they were…..but we should have ordered the pizza!!!!Perhaps it may have had more flavour and love put into the entrées than the chicken Parmesan and the “oh so trendy Nashville chicken sandwich” that most box store restaurants are preparing!Both meals were cooked very well and reasonably priced, and the yam fries were delicious and a great portion for $7. However the mains were definitely lacking in the flavour and creative department, definitely not a chef issue but owner issue. We will return and try the pizza!
Tuesday night outing at Crust & Crate was excellent. We arrived just in time for the Happy Hour. We had Fried Pickle, Chicken Parm and Fish Tacos. Tuesday is Taco night. All was good. Also we received great service from Julian, she was able to suggest food. Lots of wine on sale during Happy Hour.
Nachos and pizza were great, outdoor seating amazing, the drinks were delicious and the service was top notch. Giving a four as the water glasses that were given to us were dirty. Should have been spotted before being served to us. Looking toward to returning for pizza again!
It was a great experience trying this restaurant. We enjoyed our food. I definitely recommend this place especially their drinks. One of the best restaurant in Lansdowne (Marché Lansdowne)Friendly staff, nice ambiance also prices are reasonable.
We went to the Crust and Crate the day of the bad storm that hit Ottawa. We had never been there before or heard anything about them. They were understaffed due to the severity of the storm but they were one of the few restaurants to still be open and have power. Our server Spencer kept us updated on how our orders were coming along even telling us when our pizza’s were in the oven. When we got our food we were amazed at the flavours of our pizzas, and the calamari we ordered were cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend this place for the food, and the service was exemplary from Spencer. Just letting us know what was happening and the fact that they had over 1000 take out orders come in around the time we were ordering but also giving us an idea of when to expect our food made the difference. Thanks and we will be back.

The food is good but the service is not. The server was disorganized. We ordered drinks and he never brought my husband’s drink. Kept us waiting 45 minutes for 3 pizzas. When I asked about it, instead of apologizing he gave a snarky replied that the place is full and we’ll get it eventually. When he finally brought it, the order was wrong. The restaurant didn’t charge us which is nice but this type of service is going to cost the restaurant to loose money. I will not come back.
I have been here twice, and it was really good both times! My husband and brother really enjoyed the burgers, my brother said it was the best poutine he’s ever had! Mac and cheese is awesome, pizza is quite good too! The server we had both times was very friendly and attentive. Thank you ?
