A wonderful venue, We were expecting so much more. the food was bland and ill prepared. A pricy meal is what we expected However we had much better food, half the price, at the pub down the street.
I reserved a table at the Courtyard for a very special family celebration. Our experience was very disappointing in all aspects. We sat upstairs in a brightly lit area with no ambience at all, not even music. The service was terrible, and most surprisingly, the food as well. It cost us over 1000k and we all left deflated and angry. I will never go back to the Courtyard!
Made a rezo for 2. My girlfriend and I was sat into one of the rooms with complete silence. No music playing. We could overhear the servers complaining that one of their big tables outside only ordered tap waters. We placed our drink order and had to keep swatting away fruit flies from my girlfriends wine. The tomato app we ordered was good. I ordered the 75$ ribeye steak of the day and i sent it back. Terrible cut and very tough meat that was smothered in gravy. For a medium rare cooked steak it was as rubbery as a well done steak. Ended up not ordering anything else to replace it because I tried my girlfriends chicken and it was dry and over cooked. She didn’t eat her whole plate. All the arrangements on the plate were way off and didn’t compliment each other. Wouldn’t go back.
We had dinner at the courtyard of this nice restaurant in Ottawa. The staff was warm and hospitable and the tofu with portobello was an excellent choice. A glass of Malbec was a nice conclusion of our supper here tonight.
We had dinner here for the first time last night. I can’t believe we’ve been sleeping on coming here. We had an excellent evening. The food was superb, truly memorable, and the service was friendly and attentive. The patio was beautiful. It was serene but lively. We will definitely be coming back soon!
We had a wonderful time at The Courtyard for our wedding. Julia was a pleasure to deal with and made sure everything went smoothly and perfectly for us. The food was absolutely delicious and so many of our guests raved about it. We highly recommend this venue!
Ambiance is great, very famous chef but we did not find the experience worth the price.We ordered: beets salad (3/ 5), chicken dish (5/5), Denver steak (4/5), Steak frites (3/5). Espresso martini was not good. Good variety of wine selection.
My spouse and I recently celebrated our wedding at Courtyard, and we could not ask for anything better! Julia and her team has made our day so special! Julia is professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She was able to guide us trough the entire process! She made everything so easy and simple! The food was amazing! There is no other words to describe it! We received so many positive comments about everyone’s experience! I would highly recommend Courtyard for any events! Our celebration was absolutely perfect!
Did not take long to get our order we were in a hurry and the wait staff complied…..excellent food will come back
Beautiful decor and atmosphere. The service was excellent. The food was out of this world. The duck was cooked to perfection. The chicken was moist and very flavourful. Hats off to the chef for the combination of flavours! Will definitely be back. We highly recommend.
