Surprised at how bad it was.Firstly i got notified through the uber eats app that it was ready. Arrive at location 10 min later, only to be told by waitress that it was being packaged… 5 min later i ask why it is not ready, only to get attitude.I politely inform her that I was notified of this item being ready prior to arrival… she then understood my frustration. Another 5 min I get my order.I only wish that was the end of the my grievance. But no. Get home to realize food is barely lukewarm, and upon eating my eggs benedict which I ordered as “easy”, meaning yolk is liquid, only to find them all hard….Potatoes were literally tasteless and bland. The only thing that was decent was the fruit bowl, which can’t really be screwed up.Clearly the cooks don’t care, shows in what they give to customers.I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Used to be good… went downhill big time!!
Absolutely horrible food and service. We'd last been to this location before the pandemic and it was good, but things seem to have changed for the worse since. We waited over an hour after ordering our food for a table of 8 which we had reserved, and the place wasn't even half full. The food was barely warm and some of our order wasn't cooked properly (the potatoes and eggs). The fruit was barely edible and we left most of it on the plate: strawberries were old and brown, cantaloupe was mushy, and pineapple was brown on everyone's plates. Our server did not check on us A SINGLE TIME after we ordered. We won't be going back.
The food is good but the service is meh. We (only a party of 2) waited an hour for our food and the waitress walked by us multiple times without looking at us or giving us any sort of update about when our food will be ready. Our empty water glasses were also sitting there nearly the whole time, waiting to be refilled. I understand that the restaurant is busy, but giving us an update only takes 10 seconds, and we also saw her just standing around on various occasions. I’d recommend Cora’s in general, but not the Alta vista location
Had 3 Benny with Ham combo and it definitely delivered on portion and taste! The place got really busy and the kitchen was understaffed to handle both the dining room and delivery orders. Food took about 45 minutes to arrive.
Wonderful breakfast place! Food is pretty good and staff is also very nice!
I guess I should thank this location and their staff for helping us discover that hometown grill down the road has some really good breakfast.Showed up to dine in around 10am and was 4th in line. After 15 minutes in line (not exaggerating, I was watching the clock) the 2 person group at the front of the line wasn't seated yet. We figured they were super busy. After taking a peak inside, over HALF the tables were empty and there were 2 waitresses standing around. Waited another 5-10 minutes and the line still didn't move.Went to hometown grill and were seated immediately even though they were almost full.
Restaurant was understaffed and service was pretty slow for a chain place. The food is just poor for the price despite the neat sounding menu items and pictures. It's really disappointing given how much you spend.
Cora stands up to its reputation for excellent breakfast, service and big plates. It had been a long time, we will go back!
Cora's is great. It's not fancy, and it's not going to be anything unexpected, but it does breakfast right. Consistent between all locations I've visited too.
Really love their dishes and quality is great. Just wish their prices were more fair, especially when given such small portions. Pictures shown: hollandaise and english cream almost $4 each, insulting portion of bacon cost over $4.
