Superb restaurant great quality pizza, a must here at Ottawa. Although their specialty is pizza but they also have some great addition in their menu such as the seafood platter. Highly recommended it ???
This place is so racist .Although food is good but the way they treated me and my freind for not being white or being middle eastern was not good .We just asked for napkins and lady was angry I gave you before .so give me more I am having chicken wings and soft pizza I need more . and there is no salt pepper ketchup anything on table dark resturent .Food service is quick but not a place for everyone .
We have eaten here so many times and have always enjoyed our time there and the food is very good. Tonight was a different story and we won't be going back because their customer service has taken a big plunge. When we walked in, we ask for a table and the waitress told us to sit where we wanted then she proceeds to take the cutlery off the table after we sit down. She takes our drink order and my husband asks if there is any soup. Apparently they don't have soup anymore. Our drinks arrived and I asked for a straw and they don't have straws anymore. She asks if we are ready and when we tried to order, she takes off to serve another table. What was that all about? My husband asked the staff behind the counter what was going on and they looked at him like he had 3 heads. The waitress did come back and at that point we said we would go someplace else where they know how to serve their customers. Unbelievable that she would leave one table and rush off to another. Sorry Colonnade Pizza, you just lost a very good customer, we won't be back.
It's ok, your typical Italian diner... The food is good just very basic. Toppings on the pizza are not plentiful and don't try to substitute anything from the menu or upgrade... you get charged full-price plus the price of the other dish. They've even run out of packets of ketchup for my fries and I had to order gravy... Club sandwich - was ok. Chicken parm.is probably the best option on menu for the price I'll continue to go, for a filler meal - only because it's comfort food.
I visited this Pizza House on 23-04-2022 for the first time. I made an order for a medium size pizza that does not contain any type of animal product & based on vegetarian ingredients.Upon delivery, I got a pizza made of cheese & tomato. I asked the lady why it is made of cheese when my order was for a pizza free of animal product. She said, "vegetarian pizza comes with cheese & you did not say Vegan Food, I cannot help you". She didn't even attempt to give an alternative idea, but rather became adamant & I was forced to take what I could not eat. That was a poor customer service which I never met elsewhere.
I've never seen nor understood the love and paired this place gets. For me, it's mediocre, but my girlfriend LOVES the Mediterranean pizza. I primarily go here, for her sake, but never order for myself as i think it's overpriced for what it is.Today we got a half & half medium pizza. Mediterranean & (pictured) Burger pizza.I can eat mushrooms, I like pepper, but I also hoped for more than a pinch of ground beef per slice (4x on a medium). Kinda disappointing since you pay over 25$ for one of these, anticipating a great meal, and end up getting a mushroom pizza with a few pinches of beef, a couple of peppers and grease. ?Did it eat it? Yes, I was starving and why i gave 2* due to it being edible. Never will be my first choice.
Our family tries to eat pizza here every trip to Ottawa. It is one of our favourite restaurants in the city. We have never tried anything else on the menu because the pizza is just so great!
Ordered two pizzas from this location from UberEATS. One pizza had a hair COOKED into the cheese. Second pizza made everyone sick. Throwing up and sitting on the toilet for long periods. DO NOT EAT here. Sorry about disgusting picture. This was literally chewed and spat out onto the plate. This picture is "as is".
We usually enjoy everything we get from Colonnade on Bank St, but tonight was a miss. The fries in the take out chicken finger platter were undercooked and so few we thought they forgot to put them in. Very disappointed for the price we paid and tip we left. Please do better.
This is literally the most overrated pizza chain on planet earth. Super expensive too, never understood all the love it gets.
