Coco has by far the best bubble tea, specially milk tea bases, in all the big chains. Always have amazing services despite the little pay the workers get. Today, May 9th, I went and was super satisfied to hear the music playing was TXT! Nice little detail considering their new album came out today, really pumps the happiness in the air if you know hahaha! Anyways, I always alternate between 5 ish drink at Coco and never once have they tasted badly. The tea base has a burnt taste to it that I absolutely adore. Have been visiting for the past 3 years (whichever Coco location I'm closer to depending) and I don't think I'll ever stop.
I used to be a regular customer at this location and I’ve accumulated quite enough points for free drinks. However lately whenever I wanted to order, their brown sugar pearls were always sold out. So I had to buy my drinks elsewhere since BSP is my favourite. Not sure why they continue to run their business this way? It’s been more than 5 times in the last 2 months
Former worker of this store.Management was terrible. The manager(owner) was racist and discriminatory towards black or muslim individuals. she would force the employees to fire/hire people based on their race and no respect towards the workers AT ALL,would talk to her employees in such a rude manner in front of customers.Teenagers/Students running the store since there was no manager,and only 1 supervisor. Didn’t pay us enough, took a big amount of tips and payday was always late because she would forget the paycheques. I can’t believe this place is still open and she’s running the store like nothing happened. It should’ve shut down months ago.
extremely poor customer service. Me and my friend went in there when it was completely dead and they had their backs to us for at least 2 minutes until we had to say something for us to be served.i wasn’t a fan of my drink because of one of the ingredients that were in it and it didn’t say anywhere that that ingredient was going to be included. When i tried it, i was notimpressed at all and knew that was not what i thought i was going to be getting. I went up to them after taking the smallest sip and asked them if they can make me something else similar but without the ingredient and he had an extremely rude tone and said “well your gonna have to pay for it.” even though i just paid 8 bucks for this one. I left super unsatisfied and disappointed. Wont be coming back.
It was okay, wasn't blown away but also didn't hate it. The service was quick and I liked being able to order online for pickup.
My niece Leah and Myself tried the Coco Tea. It was the worst things I have ever tried. I couldn't even drink it. And those things in the bottom YUCK. The worst $12.00 bucks I have ever spent. Leah didn't like it either. This is one place I can say I'll never return too.
Not sure why I don't go here often. Their bubble tea is amazing and somehow cheaper than all the other big places!
I'm very disappointed in the service I received on Dec 17, 2021 3:31 p.m. at the Coco Merivale location. I was poorly treated and was disrespected by one of the employee. I asked her for her name and the store managers number she refused to give any of the information. I'm a regular customer and I place an order online and accidentally placed the order at the wrong location and I explained to her if there's anything she can do to help me. The girl was very rude and very disrespectful and disgusting Behavior. She told me you can go tell your concern on Google and she ignored me. I will never go to this location again. Chat time so much better.
Lovely little bubble tea shop. Clear set of options, and friendly staff. The taro milk tea was amazing, and my daughter liked her grass jelly tea as well. We'll be back.
This place is the best at boba! To be fair I haven’t tried any other boba places in Ottawa but I think if I did this statement would still stand true. I like their caramel milk tea with brown sugar pearls and their strawberry latte. Both of those are definite 5/5 so make sure you try them!!!
