Always amazing. We order 2-3x a month. The General Tao & Egg Rolls can’t be beat.
We've been getting pogos, hot dogs, fries and ice cream from C & D for years. Never the Chinese food, as we have another place we like. Food always made to order without much wait; quality consistent. Quantity of food and pricing, I think, provides value for money, particularly if you get the combo meals. Soft serve ice cream, IMO, is as good as DQ, and priced a little less. Multi generation ownership, the young servers remember us and have even remembered our order, even with COVID when we were masked. Eat-in area usually as clean as one would expect, including rest room. Watch the entrance, though. Step can be a bit of a "trip" hazard. Like most reviews, we recommend them.
The poutine was pretty good and the price was pretty reasonable for how the portions were. All the food was made fresh for what I saw. There is a little park out back. It’s worth going back.
These people only have Olds menus and don't even mention that too you prices are all old and after you pay, you realize prices on menu aren't what u get charged for then u ask them bput it n they look at u with a ugly smirk on there face while the other gut laughsT you, I've had 3 friends get food poisoning, they don't care , and half the time it's not cooked or its re cooked, very very rude for being in customer relations and probably shouldn't be working there I don't suggest anyone eat there unless u wanna end up in hospital thanks chips n dairy for worst experience I've ever had, all they had to do was say sorry but they just laugh n take your money, too bad could be a nice place with better workers owners
The Chinese dishes were fresh, appealing to the eyes and flavouful. The ordering process was easy to use and the food was ready on time. This was our first visit to Chips & Dairy. We'll be back.
Good quality and AC clean interior. Little park outside for the kids. I just found it too expensive for fast food that had nothing exceptional to it. Good standard chip shop.
What an amazing experience at chips and dairy. This family run business is truly a gem that I cannot believe I was not aware of. Came here with my good friend Jerrica and her daughter Brianna! Honestly the food whether it was a poutine for eggrolls and rice was exquisite. The eggrolls (amd more) actually brought me back to fond childhood memories! The owners and their family are so kind and the overall experience is one that I am looking forward to having many more times again! Sincerely Kerry :))
Been going here since they where called dairy king. Always a family favourite and frequently visit. Poutine is amazing and their Chinese platters are delicious. Great shakes too if you’re into something sweet!
The food is always good and fresh! The outline with a bit crispy fries is a must! Definitely one of my favourites.
One of the most unique places you’ll ever stumble across. I guarantee that this is the only place in Canada where you can find delicious Chinese food, traditional American fast food and ice cream in the same place. Pretty cheap too for the portions you’re getting.Nice little seating area inside too. This place is legendary all my friends love it.
