We used Chef Ric’s to cater our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious and they were so easy to work with. They took care of everything and we’re always just an email away. They had so many options for us to choose from and accommodated all our guests dietary restrictions. I can’t recommend them enough!

This establishment is such a godsend to the community, our family is staying at the Ronald McDonald house on the CHEO grounds. Chef Ric's delivers fresh cooked meals every Friday free of charge for all the families and staff at RMH. With so much already on everyone's minds and stress levels keeping everyone preoccupied, most only grab quick snacks to run back and forth to the hospital to stay with their sick children. Knowing every Friday we will have a real meal in our stomachs free of charge delivered to RMH for free is absolutely amazing. Just want to say thank you from a family that appreciated this more than you'll know. And the Curry chicken, potatoes and vegetables today were super good. Thanks for being great people who truly put their best foot forward every time.Diane from London.?

The sandwich was alright. I ordered genoa salami, black forest ham and swiss with all toppings. The toppings were nice, fresh and crispy but the meat itself was low quality, quite tasteless and the genoa reminded me of the texture of bologne...The sandwich was ok for the price but if you go La Bottega a few blocks away you can get a far better quality and tasting sandwich for nearly the same price.

Great job by the team at Chef Ric's! We had 3 catering services from them this week and our team loved every bite! Good size portions, fresh and fairly priced! Dustbane Products Ltd. is happy to use your services for our future events!

What an amenity for the local community! The daily menu is limited (one option for breakfast and lunch, rotating daily, with a sandwich bar also available during lunch service), but they supplement it with a small range of sweet baking, and frozen/chilled stuff ready to go, including entire take-home family meals. And knowing that it's all hooked into an important social enterprise (a cooking school which also does prep work for the Ottawa Mission's industrial kitchens) makes it all the better.Try the Thursday-morning breakfast sandwich, it's one of my favourites.

Wonderful!!! We ordered a dinner for 13 people. Everything was delicious, prepared to our specifications and very fresh. Kyle and the rest of the team was awesome to work with and coordinate our dinner. Well priced and food was plentiful. Best part is that we are helping our community!

Very good food and friendly staff. The prices are incredibly cheap for the size of the portions. Their frozen meals are very good as well. I highly recommend trying the meatloaf and Shepherds pie... They deserve 5 stars

Have been here a few times for breakfast, sandwiches, freezer meal, soups and/or baked goods.  It is part of Chef Ric Watson's Food Service Training Program and an interesting social enterprise.Pros: social entreprise, training people in job skills, good food, great prices.Con: drove there for a particular meal listed on the menu online for the week and it was not what was offered.  I had the butter chicken frozen meal which was very decent and wanted to try it with the trimmings as hot meal.  It was pretty sad looking Chinese food (I can cook decent Chinese food so likely higher standard than the average).Cashier said they often do not have the meal posted online as special of the day, so I need to call each morning to see what is offered? Not good for consistency nor customer service. Not sure how easy it would be to post on Facebook or Twitter the change in menu if changing the webpage is time consuming?

Affordable all day breakfast, tasty baked goods (cranberry lemon loaf was my fave), a good variety of sandwich fixings (including vegetarian), chilled grab-n-go sandwiches and salads, as well as freezer ready-made meals. My new go-to for a tasty and affordable treat out, all the better as it supports a great, local social enterprise.

With extremely reasonable prices, Chef Ric's serves some of the most delicious foods I've eaten in a long time for breakfast and lunch. They also have quick ready-to-go items and frozen take-home dinners, my favorite so far being their Indian style butter chicken meal. I have been back numerous times since hearing about this place. You really can't beat the price for the portions you receive. The store was clean and elegant with a great interior design. In the open kitchen layout, you can watch the cooks behind the counter prepping and cooking tasty foods and filling the room with a mouth-watering aromas. To make things even better, Chef Ric's also offers catering services. I HIGHLY suggest trying out this place, it won't disappoint!
