It happened just 30 mins ago. I purchased 4 Large drinks and 1 Medium to bring home for my family in Orleans. I thought the tray option is better as it needs to sit on my car while i drive. When they give me the drinks, the tray is very wobbly and they cannot even give it to me without holding it because it will fall. So i asked if they can give me bag instead and i know they mentioned that it's 15 cents so I said i'll give them 25 cents because i need it. They don't accept cash, they want me to pay by credit card. And they have 12-15 people lining up to place order. Does this make sense? The credit card charge is probably more expensive than the bag. I come here almost every week because my kids love bubble tea, but i think i'll stop for now, unless giving back a little, will be one of their values.
My wife and I had going to this place every week .not to mention long line ups which ok. Its going to be the last time were going there because of the service.She ordered 4 large glasses and guy said "Do you wants a plastic Bag for 15 cents?she said no thanks so she gave here one of those flimsy trays that could not fit 4 .that when they give it to Her it will for sure will tip over so wife said just give me the bag for 15 cents. My wife gave them 25 cents and they did not accept it because they dont accept cash they want it on visa for 15 CENts . .I could not believe it .
I was drinking my Thai milk tea last night and I already drink half of it. Suddenly, I was stroked by a freaking TISSUE that came from my drink!!! It was extreme disgusting cause I don't even know what it was used for and then shows up in my drink!! It never happend before I have to say but this is a huge mistake from Chatime that might cause people some illness!!! I will never go there anymore and I STRONGLY RECOMMEND PEOPLE WHO WANNA GO, CHECK YOUR DRINK BEFORE YOU DRINK!!???
Updated review: I'm not sure what's happened to this location but I don't think I'll be returning. Perhaps covid has really negatively affected the restaurant, but the menu is extremely reduced and the only two staff members during my recent visit seemed brand new and also unaware of the posted limited menu. I tried to order a "strawberry slush bubble tea" which I pointed to on the menu they had displayed but they were extremely confused, it took about 5 minutes of back and forth with them to eventually receive the simple drink. There's enough other bubble tea options in Ottawa for me to choose from now.Previous review: Great bubble tea selection and macarons, but there's often a line and a decent amount of waiting.
Very good selection of drinks and friendly staff. I really like the fact that you can customize your drinks and choose from non dairy options.

Super accommodating! One of my friends didn’t like her drink and they were very nice and made her a new one! I like how the sweetness and ice and milk options are very customizable.
Went there with some friends. Service was decent. Parking was plentiful. Some space to chat here and there. Looks like a hotspot to me. Can't go wrong with bubble tea.
Poor customer service… I’m a loyal customer who visited this place almost 1~2 times a week, but super upset about the customer service today.I ordered the bbt pick up through Fuantuan app just right before I walked into the store, and I mistakenly chooses the wrong location which is located in downtown, but I didn’t notice that before the worker told me that I choose the wrong location. I asked them if they could tell downtown location to don’t make that order and make it in here since I just ordered 1 minute ago. The worker at the front cash said: “ NO, YOU NEED TO GO TO DALHOUSIE TO PICK UP. WE CANT MAKE YOUR ORDER HERE.” in a mad attitude. No accommodation at all. After that, I called downtown location and the worker there was super nice and told me that he will call the chinatown location to make it for me. Anyways, I got my bbt but I never gonna visit this location again.
One of the best bubble tea spots with great service! Lots of variety and all very delicious.
