My partner and I stopped here to try their sandwiches, but we’re very disappointed. They give you trouble if you want to customize your sandwich, they only put mayo on one side of the bread and for the price, there is barely any meat on the sandwich. There are many other better Italian sandwich shops in Ottawa, we will not visit here again.

The homemade tiramisu was exceptionally good and cheap to buy. They also had cheeses and homemade spaghetti sauce, with and without meat. Park your car across the street in a city lot or beside the shop.
Closed at 5:25pm despite posted hours.

A fabulous place for all kinds of Italian foods. Excellent choice of pastas of types I didn’t know existed! Also greet selection on olives, olive oil, cheese and cold cuts. They also have a very good fresh meat counter. I tried their home made Italian sausage on the bbq. It’s was really tasty!
Wide selection of phenomenal meats, cheeses, you name it. Sandwiches are super delicious right to the last bite. Casa Nicastro will NOT disappoint you if you love a fulfilling sandwich at a very reasonable price. I will be frequenting this place regularly and encourage any sandwich lover to give them a try. Your tummies will thank you. Casa Nicastro ROCKS!!!!!!!

Went in here for some sandwiches and they were terrible! No lettuce and tomatoes available. The buns weren't fresh and the guy didn't ask if we wanted artichokes but put them on anyways. I specified no mustard and he smothered both sandwiches in mustard. Then to top it off he tried to overcharge us. We had to do the math and tell him the price was wrong. Terrible, disgusting sandwiches for a "deli".
Literally everything we bought in this place went to garbage. I was sure ruining delicious Italian food was impossible, but they have done that with great success.
