I had a wonderful experience at the store the staff made my family and I feel most welcome customer and we had the delicious gelato I recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants a satisfying meal with excellent customer service :) Brian
I'm from Italy and we came here to try the Gelato and it was AMAZING there were no words to describe it, after we had our breakfast, the quality of the croissant it was the best and the espresso that sir moni made for us it is the best espresso I have ever tried!!! Thank you so much for the attention and for make me feel at home again! We highly reccomend to visit this place!!!
Nice place and friendly staffs
Went across the street and found the line too long so we walked into Casa di Moni and the staff welcomed us in so we ordered coffee and a chocolate croissant and an apple fritter. The fritter was still partially frozen inside and the chocolate croissant was far too old to be sold to the public, dried out and not edible at all. Both coffees were no good either. Not an enjoyable experience and left our far too expensive garbage to walk across the street and enjoy fresh pastries.
I been to Italy before. This is closest restaurant I ever been to that tastes like I am back in Italy. I been here twice on a two night trip to Ottawa. The only thing that I didn't like is as someone who doesn't like coffee, I ordered the matcha because I love matcha and the matcha was really bad quality one of the worst I ever tasted.
Staff and owner are so welcoming and friendly. The chocolate croissant is to die for!!! And the pizza is hands down the best in Ottawa. Can’t wait to try all the other delicious looking pastries!! Thank you for a great experience.
This gelato is out of this world good! I sampled 3 in a large: the salted caramel with Que Bueno (very hazelnutty with some chocolate) and an almond flavor. I want to thank the staff for keeping the place so clean, mopping the floor, clean washroom, providing toilet paper so promptly and serving us so cheerfully. We will be back soon.
Very good customer service! The sorbet was very flavorful and fresh.. but the gelato (we got ones with chocolate in it) was not yummy at all.. sorry :(
I tried their gelatos today in a combo of pistachio and cookie, and a second combo of bueno and ferrero rocher flavours. I liked them all especially the pistachio and bueno. Pistachio costs an additional 50c but its worth it. I ordered a small cup but they gave me so much that the cup was overflowing, it felt like a medium. The cafe’s ambiance had a retro vibe and with friendly service. I also tried their crème brûlée and napoleon. I’m not sure what napoleons are supposed to taste like but it tasted like cardboard and we had to throw it out. The crème brûlée looked and tasted more like a vanilla pudding so I wouldn’t recommend that either unless you like bland food.
Visited for the first time tonight. The place has a nice atmosphere. I enjoyed a cup of cappuccino with their delicious gelato. The owner was around and she was very friendly and courteous. Will come back to try some of the other pastries.
