This property should be taken out of its agony We went there for a toasted lox/cream cheese bagel and were underwhelmed The portion of lox was minuscule and the bagel instead of being toasted was barely warm, The table we sat at had not been cleaned and when we asked for a cloth to clean the table we were given a dirty dish cloth When the dishcloth was returned to the food prep area the space underneath the working counter was covered in crumbs. One would think that the mice might eat well. The paint work around the windows was badly cracked and a number of the window seals had failed. Poor food and less than appealing surroundings. What more nee be said?
I am honestly shocked to see poor reviews. Everything I've ever gotten here has been amazing and fresh. Honestly, best bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich I have had ANYWHERE. They can be a little slow but the bagels are worth it.
I will not be going back. The service was excessively slow, which meant a large number of people crowded in a very small area. This would not be great normally, but even worse during the peak of COVID.The bagels I purchased were very hard and must have been days old.If you want good service and quality bagels head over to Kettlemans and don’t waste your time and money at Cadmans.
Where to start. Forgot the onion on there signature sandwich, barely any cream cheese or salmon, let some stranger bare hand the bagels I just bought when they were on the counter and didn’t replace them. Bagels I did get are 100%at least a day old, probably more, I can bounce them off the floor. Spent 20$ and will take it as a lesson. Avoid at all costs
How dirty would this place be without Covid. Not really impressed how unclean surfaces were inside, they did have a sign offering mask, don't know if true. As for the bagel it was dry and not really that good. I will say the two ladies working were polite
Nice, friendly vibe and great selection of bagels and sandwiches. The price and taste are excellent. However, the wait time can be quite long, even if it is not busy in the store. For the folks on the go, would recommend perhaps calling ahead to order.
messed up my order and refused to fix it. Hung up on me when I was complaining, and I didn't raise my voice or swear.
First time visiting this place and loved it. I really like fresh Montreal style bagels and Cadmans had plenty to choose from. I tried their all dressed bagel as part of a ham and cheese sandwich and it was great. Too bad for them that they can’t have more people stay inside to eat right now, but don’t let that stop you from giving them a try. Definitely recommend.

Drove to Ottawa from Kingston to pick up some cinnamon raisin bagels. Drove up early as they usually run out early but when we got there around 10:00 am there was still lots. I guess that should have been my first clue. So far have had 2. Where is the cinnamon?? There was maybe 2 raisins in each. When i cut them open the bagel was whiter than white bread. Not even a look of cinnamon throughout. What a shame - another bagel place off the list to visit. Next time we will try Kettle-man's!
