Service was spot on. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. Food was tasty. I had the two eggs and beans which came with coffee and hashbrowns, your choice of bacon ham or sausage ( I had the bacon- perfectly crisped like I asked?)and I had the scrambled eggs. Always a good time when I visit Broadway. (Sorry no pictures I forgot)
It was pretty good! It was my first time there, I was kinda surprised they were charging 8$ for a milkshake that size if I'm honest.... if it came with a refill then I would understand but.. yeah.The fries were amazing, my quesadilla was just a bit burnt at the edges, but I get that can happen. It was super filling though, which is awesome. The server was quirky but it added to the experience. They were great at asking if we needed anything else throughout the meal and were quick to bring anything if we said yes.Personally the menu is a bit short on options, but it is one of the pub type restaurants so you know that going in. It has daily specials so keep an eye out and pick what day to go!
Ordered the classic eggs Benedict and famous home fries… so perfect … exceptional and friendly service by our server Chantal, she is always so helpful and attentive.
Great atmosphere. Was known for their home fries and they did not disappoint, they are delicious. Unfortunately it is a bit pricy with most of the menu going around $18 but what price isn't going up in this economy
Live music was excellent. It has been awhile we went out to listen to music. Great atmosphere in our neighbourhood.
I use to be a Broadways fan but this is the worst meal I have ever paid for.Four of us decided to go for Sunday brunch and we all had mistakes with our meals. Firstly, for some reason only half the table was served coffee, the milkshake was warm, and the smoothie was as liquid as juice.Then after 40 minutes we finally received the food we ordered. Chocolate chip pancakes that were ordered came without chocolate chips and were just sad. Meals that were ordered with bacon had to ask the server for the bacon because for some reason the bacon never showed up. Then there was my meal of scrambled eggs, ham, and toast. I got served an omelet and when asked for scrambled they just refried my egg and mushed it around. It was dry, over cooked, and inedible. They served me cold toast and the ham was just a fried slice of sandwich ham. I ended up coming to this restaurant hungry and left starving.Both the meal and the service was disappointing and I would warn anyone you know to stay away from this establishment.
Great breakfast at decent prices.Came here many times for brunch. Its a place we come to time and time again due to the price, taste and atmosphere!Place is never empty, but we get our food quickly.I got the Mama Dinas, and its such a great value and taste. The sausages were very delicious. Coffee is also tasty. I like the toast as well. Obviously the star of the meal are the home fries with onion, they are perfect!Other times, I got the eggs benedict which tasted ok. The hollandaise sauce is not the best but the other elements were good.The hubby got the 1 egg and 1 meat which is great value as it is 10 dollars and comes with toast and the yummy home fries.Will visit again and try other items on the menu.
It was nice to get out and the breakfast hit the spot - on the greasier side which is not necessarily a bad thing - I enjoyed it. Our waiter Andre was also very polite and diligent. Great casual spot for a weekend brunch
Went for dine in brunch on a Sunday. The place was pretty busy but the staff was friendly and attentive. The portions were big and delicious. I got the Mexican skillet. The flavours were amazing and I would definitely return for this meal alone. The prices I thought were a little high for a breakfast place (I’m not from the Ottawa area so maybe this is decent prices for the area?) but all in all very delicious. Took home probably about half of my meal and it still tasted amazing the next day.
