This restaurant was a happy surprise for my family and I and I couldn't give less than 5 stars.The food is scrumptious (try the beet salad with goat cheese and fresh greens. It's amazing), the desserts are awesome as well and you can have a perfect espresso by the end of your meal.Now let's talk about the service: Black Dog Bistro's staff is so friendly and attentive that they don't get unnoticed.We didn't know whether we should wait outside or inside but soon someone showed up to bring us inside and designate us a table.After finishing the meal, the person who was serving us was not sure about what desserts were available for the day. So he brought us a freshly printed dessert menu.Everything is very well explained so that you can make up your mind calmly, with zero pressure.Thank you for the amazing service and food you provide the community! We will definitely be back for more!
Everything we had was amazing! The prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was outstanding. We will be going back often. We had reservations and we were there before the rush, but staff was well prepared for the evening and the kitchen was quick. We have added this to our list of favourite places to eat.
Absolutely an Amazing Restaurant with a beautiful interior, patio and friendly staff. The Food is soooo yummy and large portions worth the price and drive to try it out! Can't wait to go back!

Loved my Cajun crusted salmon and my husband loved his hamburger.Great patio seating.Our server was great and offered suggestions as we had some dietary restrictions and helped us in offering suggestions.Be patient and enjoy the ambience as you wait for your meal.Will definitely visit again when we travel to Ottawa.
First time visit last night with a great friend and it will NOT be my last! WOW! From the staff to the restaurant itself, impeccable, professional and so courteous. My tip try the chicken burger with the peppercorn sauce! I'm still thinking about it. Hats off to all 10/10
My son has very strict dietary requirements and our server had no issue in us ordering random foods off the menu my son could eat. He went and checked the protein content of items I asked for. Was interested in his medical condition but never made us feel like it was a hassle. One of the 1st restaurants we have been too that made us feel comfortable. All staff are friendly. Food was amazing. We 100% will be back
INSANE DINER LAST NIGHT !!!I had the steak tartar (sooo good) and lamb shank and it was the best shank I’ve ever had!Keep making food like this and I’ll be eating there every night. Would love to see more menu items of this calibre.Thank you Chef!
Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff even when super busy. I ordered the Salmon burger and the pad Thai. Pad Thai was excellent, lots of taste to it. The salmon burger was good but the bun became soggy very quick, making the burger very messy... maybe a thicker bun would work better. Altogether a 5 stars experience.
Beautiful restaurant in a cute town with so much charm. Our server, a young male, was attentive and friendly and made sure everything came our correctly. Highly recommend! Just minutes away from Stonebridge.
