Just got finessed; $4.50 for a 200mL drink that ended up tasting like garbage.
First time at bento Sushi and the Donburi tempura shrimp was a dissapointement.
I went to the Bento Sushi in Rideau Centre very often... but I won't go back. Last visit was very unpleasant. Totally unprofessional behaviour ! I went there, I took some sushi from the fridge, and went to the cashier and said I would also like few poke bowls. The young guy started to mumble something, and that made me ask if there is something wrong. He answered that he just needed to go the washroom... lol and it was like now he cannot go since he will have to prepare the bowls and another person came in.. Could not believe my ears!! I told him to go then. He answered a bit irritated, that he cannot since another person came in and he would have to close the store for that... Also, he was not wearing any gloves while preparing the food. I should have left right away. Anyways, that was my last visit at the Bento Sushi in Rideau Centre, Ottawa.
Food was terrible blend , not much chicken and it was dry also not much sauce they had no beef and the drinks where warm like coffee. Mentioned it to the associate but nothing was undertaken to solve the issues. NEVER AGAIN!
It was quick and dirty for me. Not too impressed, but it was filling. I bought a Bento box to go. It came with pork. The sushi rice was hard, I think it was old. The pork, sauce and rice really didn't have too much of a flavor. The gyoza was okay. Had better. Meh overall.
Food was pretty good! Not the best I've had but the best I've had in a mall. The highlight for me was the great value as serving 3 people cost under 30$

Ordered take out of the Chashu Pork Ramen and Cali shogun roll. Ramen was incredibly underwhelming - soup had no taste, no green onion and the fish cake was literally paper thin. The rice used for the sushi was mush. NEVER COMING BACK AND not worth recommending!
