Me and my friends tried the blind tasting 5 course with wine pairing. They had a plant based and omnivore option which is nice because my brother had the plant based one and each menu item was unique and fun. Great ingredients over all meal was quite filling and the wine pairings complemented each dish very well. I did wish they showed the bottle with each pairing but the server was very professional and gave a good description of each glass. Like most meals of this calibre it is on the pricier side but I feel like for these types of events it’s also about the experience. The building is very unique and the interior has a calming vibe to it. The room we were seated in was on the third floor and created a fun intimate atmosphere for our group. Not sure if I would do this meal again for the price but it was definitely worth trying once and I would definitely return to try other things.
We were greeted very well by the staff at Beckta, and seated at a table we requested. Our dinner (a birthday celebration) was masterfully managed by our server, who was quite familiar with the wine list as well. Our meal was properly timed, and we never felt rushed. The atmosphere was very quiet and restful. The food was excellent as always, well prepared and well portioned. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

A phenomenal dining experience that left me wondering why I've never been here before.If you like fine dining, like having your table for the evening, and don't mind paying for it I highly recommend Beckta. Bill, our server, made the experience complete. He is knowledgeable and wasn't shy to provide recommendations when asked.They validate parking to boot. Classy all the way!
My fiance and I went for our anniversary dinner and needless to say, it was definitely one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We chose the tasting menu and every item was delicious. The service was beyond exceptional and they even brought us a glass of champagne at the beginning to wish us happy anniversary. Strongly recommend for a special night out.
I have been to Beckta's restaurant a number of times, but not to their wine bar. What a great find. The atmosphere is wonderful. I felt you could show up dressed for the theatre or coming in after a skate on the canal. Terrific. Their food is amazing...of course it is, it's Beckta! I tried their smoked mussels, angel buns, branzino...all were delicious. Service is excellent. Price is what you would expect for fine dining. Wine list, extensive. Check it out next time you feel like have a drink and a bite. Bar seating as well as high-top tables.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is great that is the reason we went. I found the food overpriced and I felt rushed. Only because the waitress kept reminding us of the time it took to bring certain items. I don't really care, I am there for a good time, take all the time you like. In addition, the wine glass was expensive, but the waitress did not give us a fresh glass for our second glass, but topped it up. With 22 dollars a glass I expected a new glass. Overall it was a pleasant experience but I would not go a lot not because of the price, but because I did not always feel comfortable there. It sucks because I loved the atmosphere. Thank you
Our family had an unforgettable experience at Beckta. The world is literally on fire, but the team took such an amazing care of us (special gratitude to the Manager Pieter and Justin) that for a moment we could forget about our worries. What a great evening we had! The tasting menu and wine pairing was amazing! Our service was perfect and our server served us in our maternal language (French) definetly a nice addition to our experience at Bekta. We will be back for sure.
