Great spot with a little outdoor seating. Very friendly staff with a nice variety of treats and drinks. Even has Gluten Free and Vegan options although the parking lot itself doesn't seem super handicap accessible (watched a grandma with a walker and her assistant struggle to get up the curb and into the store) so that's something to keep in mind if you're with someone with physical barriers.
Very disappointing! I called yesterday to order cupcakes for a birthday party today. The guest of honour is on a strict gluten free diet. The clerk on the phone insisted there was no need to place an order just "come on in tomorrow and there would be a good selection". I did "come on in" today and was told they were sold out at 12:30 p.m. I wasted 40 minutes driving back and forth to be to be told "sorry we are sold out". It is now too late to look for other gluten free options for the birthday party tonight.A suggestion - Maybe next time when a customer calls to place an order, you should take the order. I chose this Cupcakery based on their good reviews. Based on my experience, I will never go back!

Absolutely delicious cupcakes! The icing is so buttery and amazing. There are many flavor options available, but most will be sold out later in the day, so get there earlier to take your pick! I bought a 12-pack for my birthday last weekend to treat my friends and they got rave reviews... Two of my friends said they were the best cupcakes they'd ever had, and I'd be inclined to agree. Vanilla Oreo is a personal favorite of mine, but you really can't go wrong with any of them!

I was excited to visit Anabia on Thursday because we love your cupcakes and while I realize the mask mandate is over, I was still surprised and disappointed to see that your staff were not wearing masks. We are well into the 6th wave of this pandemic with wastewater levels exceeding the peak of the last wave in January. As such, I would expect that a small local business would make the health of their community a priority and ask that their staff wear masks until this wave is over. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Anabia until this wave is over, and maybe not again. I prefer to support local businesses that prioritize the health and safety of our community. Wearing masks is a simple thing to do that can protect so many people.
Our coffee club of 4 old timers drop by on Wednesday's if and when we can get together. Some of the guys have doctor's appointments or dental appointments or are to sore to move around. We enjoy being in the cafe and enjoy the coffees, the date squares and the scones!

Great local cafe. This is one of my favourite cafes in Barrhaven. It is nicely designed, clean and is in a convient location. The staff is very friendly and informative. They have all the traditional coffee and tea options and more.Some of my favourite drinks are the jasmine green tea and the mocha made with oat milk- yes they have dairy free options. Another great thing about this cafe is they have a lot of baked goods such as scones and cupcake with quite a few gluten free options. My favourite baked good from there is the gluten-free chocolate coconut cupcake. In addition to the great coffee and baked goods they also have some really cute local trinkets such as coffee, cards, candy, etc. The only downfall is the prices are a little high, despite this I will continue to return.
