Amazing service! The people are extremely kind and thoughtful! My friend ordered something, but I'm pretty sure the lady heard something else so, she gave her something she had not ordered. Once we told them it wasn't our order, they WITHOUT HESITATION gave us a new order!Not to mention that the food is top notch!!! Amazing place! Totally recommend!
Enjoyed this cute Mexican restaurant on our short visit to ottawa and we cannot wait to go back!The food is delicious and staff are kind and very nice.
We didn't like our visit to Ahora. The staff were rude except the girl. The portion size is small for what you are paying for. The food was dry and the filling inside the burrito is very small!! We will not come back again..
Good, not great. There are better Mexican places around, but the price and portion here are good. Ordered the steak burrito, steak was tough and only lightly marinated. Kind of tastes like something a white mom would make, but it's good lol. Salsas were all great though, definitely carried the meal. Check it out if your looking for a more American style Mexican place with good portions. Not going to change your life, but you'll leave satisfied and full.

Great experience. Fast service. Lively and colourful atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place.I got the chicken tacos. They were delicious, filling but a bit dry. I think adding salsa or hot sauce to them would make them perfect. I was also surprised that chips do not come with salsa, guac or any dip.
The worst possible food and even worse service with a pathetic owner.We ordered a Vegan Burrito, a Vegetarian Tortilla Soup and Veggie Nachos and clearly mentioned to the owner that we do not eat any sort of meat, so make sure to serve us vegetarian / vegan.When the food arrived, we asked and the server confirmed it was all vegetarian and when we were about to have our first bite, we noticed chicken on our nachos andit was full of chicken. On complaining, the owner did not even bother to apologize and instead starting confronting his chef that the chef does not understand English and only speaks Spanish and could have made a mistake. Instead of being proactive and replacing the nachos with a veggie option, he asked us if we wanted it or not. The owner kept on laughing and made fun of our religious belief.For those who are practice pure vegetarianism, please avoid this place in Ottawa. I will make sure that neither I go again nor will I let any of my friends/family visit this place.
Cute little Mexican restaurant in the basement, and instantly transported to a different world. Generous food portions (we ordered the ones with 1 side, but you Can also order the main meal version that comes with 2 sides). Had 2 tacos (shrimps) and a beef steak burrito, and were really impressed by how delicious they were. Definitely worth the space in your tummy!Medium level salsa was really spicy even though we can take heat. Love the corona-margarita drink!! Just make sure you don’t drink and drive yeah.
I had Ranchero Vegetariano. Vibrant decors. Amazing location. Excellent variety of foods. Will come back again.
The food here is amazing!!! This small restaurant is a bit hidden away and does not look like much, but the service was very good, and the food was some of the best mexican food I have ever had. The portions are big for what they cost, and the quality is near perfect. I tasted the nachos, chicken burrito and chicken fajitas, and finished everything on my plate. The food really was excellent, I highly recommend. Great place!!
