The food was so flavourful. I ordered a quarter chicken meal with medium spice and it had a good kick to it. Not overwhelming but I could feel the heat. The plantains were the best I've had in Orleans so far! I'll be back!
I was a little annoyed they didn't have forks or knives so dine-in was not really an option. They also didn't have change for a $100. I quickly forgot about this when I tasted the chicken and rice. Really great flavours and medium spice level hit just right. Ill definitely be coming back to this place. Highly recommend
Great spot for bbq in ottawa! We had the bbq chicken and the beef and chicken skewers with rice, fries and plantain, everything was delicious! Super friendly lady upfront that managed to get all we wanted even though it was almost closing time on a Sunday night!
I know my BBQ, cooked years on the grill to perfect my craft and ate at multiple BBQ joints. These guys know their chicken, from spice to cooking technique and the use of charcoal. We also tried the Tilapia, goat, lamb and beef skewers. Nothing was a let down, it was all on point; taste, spice and cooking. Do yourself a favor try it! Ownership are a great bunch. It was my first time and will definitely be back!
UPDATE: We decided to give it another try after a rough start since the food we had gotten (Lamb and Shrimp) was pretty good. This time we had the chicken family meal and it was very good. We really liked the chicken and plantains. The fries (crispy) were a hit with the kids. The salad (and dressing) is also very good.I didn’t have a great first time experience ordering take out here. Came to pick up my food 5 min after the scheduled time and still had to wait an hour to get food. I even made a point to order from their ordering system so they would get more of a cut instead of OrderOnline.com. Would have given 5 stars for the food since it tasted great so I may give it another chance next time.
Amazing chicken . Grilled to perfection and properly seasoned. The spicy chicken is VERY spicy but delicious if your palate can take it. This restaurant is our neighborhood stop for excellent BBQ chicken. You won’t be disappointed .Robyn
A Plus job on the food, very friendly staff by far the best place to get chicken . The rice is the very well flavored with spices and vegetables hands down the best in the city . Will be returning at least once a week & well worth the drive from barrhaven! Keep up the good work
Most underrated BBQ chicken place in Ottawa. Little waiting time and amazing food.
Saw this place online so I figured it would give it a shot. 10/10. This is by far the best chicken I've ever had in Ottawa yet alone at a BBQ spot. The portions are generous and the staff are extremely kind and accomodating. Will be coming back!
