Came here on a whim and tried their Mantu- it was amazing. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and polite and the food was worth the wait.This was supposed to be an appetizer but their portion was big enough for a meal. My mom got a chicken platter of some sort and there was enough food for 2 people.Everything was fresh and flavourful. Will definitely come again!

Looking at the menu, I noticed a decent selection of appetizers, kabobs, platters, sides, dessert and drinks. Tried lamb rack platter , butter chicken & frini. Probably the best Afghan food in the city. Great place to bring family and friends . Staff is humble and warm customer service . 100% recommended.
I want to begin by saying, THIS IS TRULY THE BEST SPOT IN OTTAWA!! I order their family for two platters religiously; comes with plenty of delicious protein (lamb or beef) and savoury sides like Kabuli Rice. To top off the delicious food, the staff are extremely polite and genuine. As a recent grad, making the most of my money is key, and this place hits all the check marks. Ottawa is fortunate to have such a great spot, I’ll definitely continue to be a regular ?

Was within walking distance to our hotel and we got two platters to take back - the kebab trio platter and the the half chicken platter. The kebabs were deliciously spiced and very moist and tender. The chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender and very good. It all came on a bed of rice with a side salad and two sauces. Great value and highly recommended
Delicious food and this was my second visit here! Truly worth of wait and the meat is very fresh with great taste and spices! Must try in downtown!
Went in for Salad and chicken.Came out with both of those plus a beef skewer and rice plus sauces and a complimentary bowl of the chefs soupThe soup was perfectly portioned and served, with as much equally spiced ingredients and seasoning.Highly Recommend.5/5
Just okay… not that outstanding as other reviewers put it. Not disappointing at all.
