The restaurant is amazing! My favorite place to eat. However I hate the location and one way entrance. The parking lot out back suck! Potholes. I stopped eating there those years as the price roared to $32 per person buffet. So I'm not going there again. Good luck to those eating there. Yummy food!
The food came out very quickly and the rolls were well made. The fish itself was pretty good during this visit. Service was alright. I would return again, but this location isn't my first AYCE sushi choice.
I used to love this place! Today it was $32 each and you could only stay 1 hour. The seaweed was so chewy we could not eat it and the crab was so old it had no flavor. Each time they delivered something to our table I said thank you but not one of the three servers even said HI. Then the waitress came over and turned our order tablet off before our hour was even up! Who does that, the place was empty.
Went to 168 sushi after a long time. For some reason they take your temperature ?. The lady on the reception was very rude. The food was ok the sushi was good the beef was disgusting. The food was delivered quickly the price is 32 before tax . I would go back but I have other places I like more.
Not a place for me at all. It was my first time trying sushi. I hate it. I am pretty sure that I will never try sushi again. Although, I'm a person who loves seafoods. But the sushi was awful.
It's an amazing place for Japanese food variety of sushi, sushmi etc Even apart from Japanese food other traditional Chinese food was pretty enjoyable. Quality of service needs improvement of they to hire more staff to handle customer wait longer. Down side is it has 1 hr limit which might not be enough if someone plans to sit relax and enjoy food with family and friends.Overall food tastes good and the servers were great in regards to customer service.
We love all you can eat sushi. It's our favourite thing.For a $34 AYCE, which is up there with Mandarin prices, the selection was limited, many of the choices were either poor quality or prepared poorly, and when they found out we don't carry a physical card and just tap with our phone, oh boy did the customer service fly right out the window. We were thoroughly lectured and brought to a different machine to tap for our bill. If you don't take debit, post a sign on the door. We could easily have sorted something out before the awkward situation of being redressed in public.Service staff were pleasant, and helpful. Woman taking payments behind the bar, terrible.After years of enjoying West Ottawa's 168, I think we've had our final meal at any of their locations.
Cheap things always come with price, in other words, you get what you pay for. Made an order over phone. When went there to pick up, I noticed that they were very busy. Indoor dine in customers+Uber eats orders+other walk in customers- that's totally fine but that doesn't mean that you would compromise with the quality. One of my orders was sweet and sour chicken and it was half cooked. They just let it go quick due to on rush of orders. You can not do fast cooking. It needs it's required time.
Really enjoyed out meal at 168 Sushi on St Laurent tonight. Dine in seating is limited at the moment so there's definitely a high chance of waiting in line. Dine in is only an option Thursday-Sunday at the moment. Service was pretty good despite a dinner rush and the food was quite good. Good options. The sashimi is excellent quality. Everything is hot and fresh and arrives quick. Would definitely go back!
I love the idea of getting my buffet brought to me instead of having to stand up and go around. The food is good but not excellent, I don’t think it’s worth the very high price tag.
