We ordered the Big Jerk Chicken sandwich and the chicken Greek wrap and fries for both. The food was delicious and the portions were huge - that fed 3 of us last night with some leftovers today still. We will definitely be back to order takeout again.
Ridiculously good chicken sandwich. The wife and I both had the mother clucker. The chicken has a really nice thin breading on it and was cooked perfectly. The fries were still really hot and crispy even by the time we drove home and ate them. Price was excellent for the quality and quantity of the food. Best take out food I've had in a long time
Went for dinner for the 1st time last evening, on recommendation of friends. Walked out right away when advised that there was NO inside seating, (entry was blocked off by tables, and 1 employeeInside door ) although they do show seating on their web site. Had to go outside, to view their menu. Prices were higher then the web site menue. Worked out great though, as we found a new Greek Restaurant on King Street ( THE FRIENDLY GREEK ). Great food, and reasonable prices.,
We ordered from Uncle Archie’s on Saturday evening and the food was amazing. We were craving Greek food and Uncle Archie’s nailed it, the best Greek food in Durham by far. We ordered the souvlaki and gyros dinner combo, it was huge and so good! And very reasonably priced. We ate for two days. It included a delicious large Greek salad, garlic bread, sliced succulent pieces of melt in your mouth gyros piled high in its own container, soft and tender chunks of chicken souvlaki with savoury yellow rice and moist lemon potatoes with a side of tzatziki sauce. All of this food for under $25 and fed two people with leftovers. Uncle Archies’s is a Durham gem and highly recommend trying this restaurant.
OMG.Just tried for the first time tonight.The food is amazing ordered the Mac and cheese with bacon which is to die for and got the bubba burger the flavour is very tasty and ordered the steak on a Kaiser cooked perfect.Lots of food.Will be coming back again think fouls my new favourite place ?
I have not yet been successful in getting food from this establishment. I tired to call in an order and no answer (called twice), I tried another time to order from Uber Eats only to have my order cancelled by the restaurant, I then tried another time to go to the restaurant and it was unexpectedly closed, I tried again to go to the restaurant on another day and they were onsite but advised that their order arrived late and they wouldn’t be opening for another hour….then last night I tried one more time - I placed my order through Uber Eats, all seemed to be good - half an hour later I looked just to see how it was coming along, only to have my order cancelled AGAIN by the restaurant. Very frustrating and disappointing. I kept trying this place thinking it was COVID issues but last night was the final straw - sadly, it just seems to be poorly run or I have the worst luck ever.
Delicious and authentic Greek food with large portions. The gyro dinner and mac and cheese were especially large ! Poutine was yummy and the brownie was amazing. 10/10 would recommend
I had the mother of all chicken sandwiches... wow what a wonderful meal. taste was great and the side salad was like my mom had made it ... i will be BACK ... cant wait to try the other items on the menu... oshawa is lucky to have this place...i never tock a pic of my sandwick but i did take a pic of my son's burger and he loved it...?????♂️
Awesome, awesome, awesome!! I had the Greek burger. It was the best I have ever had. The quality and quantity are worth the price. I'm hooked!! Going again to explore the menu.
Amazing gem located in Oshawa. If you are passing through or haven’t tried, you need too! It’s a family run business that takes pride in what they do. The portion sizes are plentiful and you will not be disappointed. My go too is the Gyro Pita and Greek Salad. My son really enjoyed their kid’s chicken fingers dinner. Their fries and poutine are top notch for as well. I also can’t forget to mention the in house made coconut cream pie!! Just pop by, support a local family run business and fill your belly with their amazing food!
