You have to ask staff to open washroom door, which is ok, I don't mind. It was better if it was open. Anyhow, staff is ok but too busy. Parking is ok, seating doesn't look great. Access is a bit in between traffic.
The staff is always super nice. You can tell they really try their best in their situation. This location is VERY busy, at all hours. The drive through is never empty and there's always a few people eating inside and outside at their tables too. So as I said the staff do their absolute best, but the store gets extremely overwhelming.The store is kept tidy. The bathrooms are locked, you have to ask them to unlock it before you use them ("1 male & 1 female" group washrooms)The food is great especially the cilantro lime chicken wrap. (As seen in the picture) that was done by one of my favorite staff there because, well. THAT CHICKEN ???
The staff were friendly and professional and helpful. Food was great as usually. The problem was short staff today.long lineup for walking and drive through. While waiting I only saw 3 staff members actual working.
I sometimes feel bad for some of the staff here, it can be quite busy at this location & I've witnessed several of the employees frantically try to keep up because they are picking up the slack for newer inexperienced/uncaring employees. Several of the girls here are exceptional at their job!
We constantly complain about the milk dates being far too old that keep being sold to us through the drive thru and when we walk in, and now we get handed a carton that has expired old milk curdled and dried into the fresh one we just paid for. Absolutely DISGUSTING. They are aware this is for a toddler to consume, yet they constantly play health and safety games with the dairy. Avoid if you can, we only get stuck out of convenience and it's honestly just a health risk at this point. Nothing is ever done about any complaints.. they need serious health and safety retraining, this is completely unacceptable and 100% avoidable considering the amount of conversations were had with the staff about their milk supply issues.
You're not allowed to change the price of menu items. Regardless of ownership. Your training guide advises you not to charge people for hot capp drinks unless its HALF or more. Yet you keep charging me a full sized french vanilla when I get less than a quarter in my drink. Only a handful of your employees do this, and one of them likes to sprint over everytime she sees me just to charge me.. its ridiculous. Also annoying as hell after waiting 20 minutes in line on front.
this location my donuts are always stale. I bought a 6 pack with chocolate dipped crullers they are hard as rocks
This location of Tim Hortons at north simco and Taunton rd is the worst location, why ? For the last 15 years I have goiytheee and 7 visits out of ten I leave upset because the staff gives me the wrong things I order, and when you ask why ? They are very rude and they roll their eyes back the drive through is disgusting disband I believe the stay are the same , it’s a cancer with no cure
This is one of the worst Tim’s I have been too. The wait times in the drive thru are through the roof (not in a good way) and if that wait wasn’t long enough for you, they tack on more waiting time at the window!The staff are not overly friendly in my opinion. Last time I went into the building, the staff that was serving me at the register took my order fairly quickly and then ignored me when she saw her friends walk in and proceeded to talk about her person life.I can appreciate that we have all been through a pandemic and times are hard, but work is not the place to have those conversations with other customers present.I think this location could do well under new management as it seems the management at this location has gotten rather lazy…
Coffee is ALWAYS GREAT at this location! They prepare the Farmer's Sausage wrap PERFECTLY EVERY TIME! No matter how busy the drive through is, you never wait long as the crew here is , not only pleasant & funny, they are extremely well organized!! This is my Tim's FAVOURITE location in Oshawa!
