Great food - great service - great atmosphere

Placed an order for takeout. They cancelled my order because they “can’t get to it right now”?! Firstly, my order was scheduled for 7:15-7:45 and they told me at 6:45 that they “can’t get to it right now” and cancelled the order…? Doesn’t really make any sense since you clearly didn’t need to “get to it right now”; you needed to get to it in an hour. One burger doesn’t seem like it would be a hardship to get to in a span of 2 hours (placed the order around 5:45). Secondly, why are you taking orders if you can’t get them??? Won’t ever go to this restaurant when it reopens and certainly won’t bother ordering there again. Don’t order from this place unless you want to be very very hungry by the time you actually get food…from a different restaurant.
Feb 14 Valentine's Day... The service was really good but the food was a disappointment. I ordered the Fish Tacos which consisted of a handful of baby greens with an ounce of fried fish on top and covered in a couple of onions and red pepper all in a stale taco shell. I would not have eaten this at home. It was basically all lettuce and no taste to it. I admit I didn't complain which I should have but my husband was satisfied with his chicken sandwich. He at least got 6 oz of meat, a bun and a side. I won't be back as I don't like paying big prices for small portions.
We went for a birthday dinner. The food was really good and the overall vibes of the restaurant. Our server was nice and accommodated to all our requests. I did find my salad side portion pretty small but overall the burger was very good (I got the bacon jam burger). Also do check their drink menu, they have a whole variety going on.
Shout out to the staff on valentine's day, saw how busy it was and how hard the staff was working to seat everyone and keep things clean. Really impressed with the professional work ethic. Food was reasonably priced and great. Will be back again.
We visited Baxters Landing for dinner back in December before heading downtown to a Toronto Leafs Game! My partner and I wanted to eat locally before grabbing the train downtown, and both of us decided to visit Baxters.From the moment we walked in, we were given amazing service by the team. Our food came out quickly, the staff were enthusiastic and pleasant to chat with (mostly about who would win the game that night!) and the food was delicious.We had debated eating downtown but decided we had some really great restaurants locally we would rather support, this being one of them! We did not regret our choice to stay local, instead we were happy we landed on that decision!During our meal one staff member approached us to ask if they could post our photo on their social media, which we were happy to do for them!Definitely will be coming back because we enjoyed the experience from start to finish! Thanks!
Always loved their menu and have always been happy with both the service and the quality. During our recent Omicron lockdown I ordered by phone and was truly impressed by the warm professional greeting and service by the general manager himself ! Definitely going more often !
They have the most amazing cocktails and delicious food. The service is fantastic. They should open up their outdoor patio again though and enclose it a bit. Would love to enjoy that in the winter too !! Love this place !
Baxters Landing is truly one of the BEST places I have been too yet. The staff are amazing and very well trained on how to handle customers with service dogs. Our server was very kind and a true joy.The food was great. The drinks are great. And some of them you can order some of the proceeds go to charity.I strongly recommend this place for good eats,drinks, and great service!
