Their wings….actually all the food in the menu
Amazing food! Everything came out HOT and TASTY! My picky child ate ALL his food as did my husband and I! Great atmosphere, not your average dingy bar/pub. Super friendly waitstaff, we will be back for sure!
Tried the Crooked Uncle for the 1st time today. We were very pleased. Our waitress (Jay I think) was very friendly and attentive. The owner introduced himself and very honestly admitted there was a little mistake with our nachos, so it was being redone, and he reduced our bill more than we expected, and even though we hadn't complained. The food was good, drinks cold, and service great. We will definitely be returning!
I've heard a LOT of great things about this place for years, and finally went with a few friends for what I've been told are great wings and a few drinks. The wings were good in size and not heavily breaded but were pretty dry/overcooked.Our server was sporadically attentive and seemed to be more concerned with doing shots with a few of the other patrons.Sadly, The Crooked Uncle did not live up to the hype.
By far the best wings! My husband and I go here often. Really friendly staff & a great place to chill and watch the game with a nice cold beer. We do miss the barrel of peanuts but completely understand why they've been removed. Maybe you guys could bring them back and serve individual baskets? Just a thought. Still a big fan of crooked and will visit often! ?❤️?
Absolutely one place if you haven't visited in Oshawa you have to try! When I speak to people who know this gem say it's the number one place in the area for wings! It's true too. They have an incredible Saturday night Prime Rib special that's out of this world good!! This Prime Rib dinner can compete with any fine dining establishment around!!Overall a great Atmosphere with a menu of great food and drink!You gotta check this place out!
Really enjoyed our dinner. Prime Rib with all the trimmings was great. Rib wing combo was great too.We'll be back
I cannot think of a bar on a Saturday night closing at 10pm. Today was just a bad experience all around, a group of friends just left a bad restaurant that we waited over 2 hours for food, so we left and decided to come to the Crooked Uncle for drinks and food, we were told that the only food available at 9:30pm was anything deep fried, so no burgers or such. So we ordered wings, the wings are good, but when we got the food, they were announcing last call? We were shocked, what bar closes at 10pm on a Saturday night on a game day. (Hockey). Post Covid rules. You can not be successful business with these hours. So disappointing. Hope they smarten up. We do like the place.
I used to be all for the Waltzing weasel for the wings. Then the owner changed as did the food, and after hearing him talk to his employees. Well I tried the Crooked Uncle,I've been eating wings a very long time. I travel a lot so a lot of places.The Uncle has the best wings hands down and is the only place I will buy them now.
Had lunch here today & it was wing day....had Crooked & they were awesome. It's been 7 yrs since I've been back in Oshawa & boy do I miss my Crooked Uncle wings.....please open a restaurant up in Trenton pretty plz.If you haven't been here you gotta pop in & have their wings.....absolutely awesomeKeep up the great work, keep serving great food & providing excellent service.Take care
