Our server didnât ask is weâre celebrating anything even through when I did prime seating with OpenTable I put down as birthday. She didnât tell us about the menu that it was lobster fest. Never asked if we wanted more buns. Had to ask for cheese for a pasta. Didnât really check on us she was more attentive to her other tables. Maybe because we were a table of two and we looked young but it was for my husbands 30th if he didnât want seafood we probably would of gone somewhere else
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and the GM Aravin quickly recognized us, as we had gone to the restaurant before. He went above and beyond to check in on us throughout the evening to make sure we were comfortable and the food was tasty. On top of that our server Taylor was also outstanding - the customer service stands out at the Red Lobster Oshawa location is what would bring us back again and again. Thanks so much for the amazing experience to you both. It made the date night that much more special.
My favorite is the shrimp trio, but the dinner for 2 Thursday is great. The bottle wine at half price on thursday is also great.
We enjoyed the meals that we ordered. However, the reason we chose Red Lobster was for the crab meals of which they had none. We were told it was some sort of supply issue. The website indicates crab on their menu and nowhere did we see a note saying that they did not have crab at this time. It was a birthday lunch but kind of disappointing.
This was the first time we brought our kids to Red Lobster. Our family enjoyed it! Weâll be back! Thank you.

We celebrated a special occasion yesterday and have mixed feelings about our experience. The portions were large and everything tasted good (our table ordered the lobster bisque, Thursday 2 can dine special, 2 orders of the stuffed tilapia, the crab Alfredo linguine, and a chocolate wave cake) and everyone left very full however, every thing was VERY greasy and heavy- not a pleasant feeling after eating.Our waitress (I believe her name was Deb) seemed to have an attitude with us when we flagged her down to ask a question. Very sharp and abrupt when talking to us and that really spoiled our mood.BE AWARE: they promote the use of the tablet, however if you play the games they will charge you for it!!! It was not apparent that there was a cost and I have never seen this at any other restaurant, so just be conscious of that.Overall, a mediocre experience with aspects that left a sour taste in our mouths- will likely not return.
This was the first time i go here and they made a good first impression! I will definitely return here. We got lobster tails, scallops and shrimps and all was juicy and tasty. I like the touch of butter they put and the complimentary biscuits. The waitress was super friendly and actually very professional by how she handled the food and drinks. But she didn't mention there was the endless shrimp event happening, so we came the next day to take advantage of that and just for that, loose a star. I believe it's important to announce any special menu options.
You just never get a bad meal at Red Lobster. It's always super consistent! It was busy so it took awhile for our food but those biscuits kept on coming and we enjoyed the extra time for conversation with family!
