OMG, where do I begin!!! This place is amazing and highly recommend it. I live in Scaborough and this ace is wl worth the drive. The atmosphere is very welcoming and done with class. The staff are great to greet you with a warm smile. Plenty of booths for two people, the family or just to sit at the bar and catch the game. They have an outdoor patio as well facing King Street at the main entrance. The food was phenomenal with good sized portions to fit the price. I mean, if your are going to have lunch here, dont eat breakfast!!! The Calamari was cooked to perfection. The Surf and Turf was excellent served with mash potatoes, seasonal veggies and a bourbon gravy. The salmon salade with goat cheese was also fantastic. Great sized portion of salmon on lettuce and potobello mushrooms. Dessert loomed great but frankly, we had no room!!! Thank you Portly Piper Pub and see you again real soon!!!.
What a great find. Didn't even know this place was here. Their menu was recently updated and it was definitely for the better. It's an amazing menu with many options no matter what your hungry for. And their desert....the caramel cheesecake was absolutely delicious. Great location, good atmosphere, and awesome staff. Alicia was wonderful and helped make our night a good one. I will definitely be back eith more friends.
Very nice classy place, I was very surprised since the ajax location was such a dump. This place does not belong in Oshawa. We had a great time. Service and food was superb. I have no complaints. I would give this place a 4.8 star just for that amazing burger. But it gets a 4 star since I did mess up 2 of our orders.
Been here a number of times and never a bad experience. Food is what you would expect from a sports bar, nothing overly exciting but it's tasty. Drinks are excellent. Joanna was our server the last time we went and she was fabulous. Very pleasant and prompt. Thanks for a lovely evening!
Don't get me wrong but this is my opinion. We went there twice. First visit was a five star and I forget to put my reviews on that day but it was Monday around 9pm our server was the best server that I had. So we decided to come back again because that lady told us about the deals they have during 9pm onwards.On our second visit, she was a nice server and she know how to interact with kids but other than that nothing else was right. She is so slow and did not check on us if we need something. Getting brownie for my kid takes 10 minutes to wait. It's not even busy.So this is just what we observed but there food is amazing.I'm still coming back for the food.
Good food and portions, good prices, service was off this visit but an anomaly.
Good Food, Great Service and Great Atmosphere. This place was bustling on a Friday night. All age groups represented and friendly customers were chatting up people passing by. All in all one of the better sports bars I have been to in a while. If you are stuck in Oshawa for some reason, take the time to check this place out. Prices for both food and drink were excellent, I had the rack and wings combo with a double mixed drink and it was about $30. Tasty, hot and fast. The staff, even the younger and obviously new, work like a smooth oiled machine and are fast, funny and professional.
Great spot! Atmosphere is that of a sports bar/pub. Food is great, drinks are cold. Natasha is awesome! I had one small complaint about my dish and without hesitation she corrected it for me. I would recommend Portly Piper and will be going back!

I had the wings. Have been having wings from here for the last 2 months on a weekly basis. I have always enjoyed the manager who would always come around if you eat in to say hi. However the last 2 weeks my order was take out wings and the have not been the best. Today I order 3 lbs with jerk, thai and Buffalo. The only wings that had sauce on it was the Thai. The others had a little sauce to the side. I am not happy, so I will pause my visit and try another wing place. Good eat in restaurant however with very friendly staff.
