My husband's birthday today. All he wanted was a really good prime rib dinner. Owning our own restaurant we dont get out much. We ended up at Harpos in Oshawa. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Good wine selection. Lovely caesar salad. Perfectly cooked prime rib. Our server Frank was attentive and gracious.As a fellow restaurateur I would definitely recommend them. We will definitely visit again.
Harpo restaurant is a good place to go to from dinner the staff happy and we always good service we will be back soon
We went to celebrate our anniversary, which we had done before Covid and our experience was wonderful, but this time the prime rib was tough could barely chew it. If this is what their prime rib is we will never be back.
I recently booked the Solarium at this venue for my daughter's baby shower. My experience with them was excellent. They were accommodating, polite and my detail requests were noted and followed through. My guests commented on the excellent food, beautiful setting, and courteous staff. Thank you to Lisa and all her staff who were involved with making my daughter's special day a very memorable one.
We went for an anniversary dinner as my wife loves seafood. The garlic bread was almost dripping with garlic butter and delicious! I had the steak and scallops and my wife the seafood pasta. Past had lobster, scallops and shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was fine. No complaints and we will go back.

Food was excellent! Servers were attentive and nice! One of those places actually get what you pay for! I had the prime rib and it was great and my super picky 15 year old ordered the salmon for the first time and loved it!!
Great atmosphere for a nice dinner. Great staff as well. I'm surprised it isn't more busy. My siblings and I most recently were there for mother's day celebrations
First time visiting. The service was excellent. The waitress was extremely friendly, our drinks were kept topped up and she told us about the menu.We ordered the Salmon, and Prime Rib. Both meals were delicious, and great portions. The sides were a salad and lobster bisque, which hit the spot perfectly.The bread they served at the table was hot and delicious.The price matched our expectations for the quality of food and service. Overall it was a great time and would recommend!The overall atmosphere was great.
Went here for a Birthday celebration we all ordered Steak which was absolutely lovely, cooked well, tender and delicious. Mine came with a lobster tail, unfortunately it was not good, it was tough and had a strange taste to it, would not get it again. The server on the other hand was not great, we felt rushed from the get go, he took our drink orders and was accurate, when it came time to order he never asked us if we would like appetizers half way through ordering we realized he hadn't asked us and we had to tell him we wanted them. He didn't put the order for appetisers in and instead started us on our dinner portion of the meal. This would not have ruined our night but what happened at the end of the meal did! After paying and leaving a tip he saw us about to leave the table, at which point he ran up to us to ask if everything was alright, we said yes it was fine at which point he stepped Infront of us and got in the senior males face blocking him from walking to the door to again ask if everything was ok, to which he smiled and said yes, Apparently, he did not like the generous amount of Tip we had left him and wanted us to correct it before leaving by blocking our path and getting in our faces. For this reason, we will take our business and our generous Tips elsewhere! Never should you feel intimidated and bullied by restaurant staff to increase a tip.....and yet we were.
