Fish and chips (Halibut) is heavy enough that one piece can do most people.Good gravy, slaw is surprisingly tasty - I can't stand most places.Prices hurt a bit but hey, good food ain't cheap and cheap food ain't good!

I went for breakfast Ordered white toast Breakfast was brought to me I had to wait for the toast When it came it was burnt Waitress said If it's overdone I will take it and get you a fresh order of toast Already waited after my breakfast was brought to me Now I have to wait again The waitress did the same thing to everyone that was in eye sight from me Then when I went to pay She says I didn't charge you for your coke because your toast was burnt This is what she was doing Place your order to the cook Put your toast down in the toaster toast would pop up before breakfast would be ready get cold Then when order was ready Put your toast down again bring your breakfast Bring you toast which is burnt now and promo something on your bill to make you happy and so you will still tip I didn't go to be part of a hustle for some desperate waitress Food cost must be higher when she's working Every one gets something for free at the cost of the owner Customer aren't going to complain they are getting something for free The owner is paying for everyone to get 2 orders of toast and something else on their bill for free Sad that this waitress thinks this is a good practice I won't be back Lots of places to get a good breakfast and get it all at once without burnt toast
Halibut house provided friendly service that was timely and gave a very 'homemade meal' feel. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh. The new management here is great!
Purchased 2 halibut n chips, thought it funny how quick my order was.Get home n the fish isn't cooked enough n fries taste kinda funny.Want good food go to Bloor and stay away from the King n Gibb location.
Best fish and chips in town! Had to visit before the last shutdown. Can't wait for them to open again for in person dining. Take out fish just isn't the same.
The lunch special is amazing and so is the service. Would definitely recommend.
